She kind of has to do these songs ...be like Frank Sinatra not singing "My Way" maybe she wants to keep the set list under wraps till the tour starts.
I thought the drummer was a bit mmmm heavy handed.

it needs to go away for a while. It's fine for the Mac but I don't think anyone would be (diehard and casual fan alike) would be upset if she didn't sing it. it's been done to death.

I don't like the hackneyed ending of Gold Dust Woman. I think Scott Crago sounds good.

If the arrangement was like how the Foo Fighters do it, I would love it to be in the set

agreed! It totally rocked out and sounded fresh.

I think GDW peaked in 2013 before Christine came back. Those were amazing, spontaneous performances. By 2015 it became uninspired and routine. Not to mention the same shawl was worn for every single performance.

I think Gold Dust Woman was stellar in the recent Mac tour, and should just stay there for a while. Gives more time for other songs in this special 24KT Gold tour.

Wouldn't it be cool if FM songs were reserved for FM shows and Stevie only performed her solo work on her own? Would free up soo much room in her solo shows!

Agree, I think it was her standout song during the shows I saw in 2013 and 2014. Though I remember thinking Dreams on the 2013 tour was her best version of that song that I have seen.

Gold Dust Woman is the closest thing Stevie has now to the show stopper that was Rhiannon in the 70's. She hardly dances or spins anymore. At least her head and hair gets tossed around on GDW.
