Talking I want a Mirage tour !!

Listening to the re-release of Mirage with various versions of the songs makes me fall in love again with Mirage. The songs would translate so well live. Even if the Mac finishes their studio album, I would prefer to hear the following songs live rather than any new song:

Love in Store
That's Alright - acoustic version
Hold Me
Straight back
Empire State - the alternative version is so amazing
Eyes of the World
Only Over You
Wish you were here (maybe instead of Songbird)
Gypsy - throw it in for good measure

This was my favorite Fleetwood Mac tour. I'm so glad I got to see them on this tour.

I've still got mine somewhere in a safe.

Can you imagine how insulted they would feel today, if you asked them to tour with tickets no more than...say $50?

They wouldn't tour now, unless they pocket millions, each.

I don't get this at all. I have been a concert goer since the Rumours tour but I did skip the last tour. I mostly did because there was no new music. At this point it's not the money......... But with that said I would NEVER pay more than a couple hundred bucks for a show. I would rather invest in these box sets of pure perfection that I will treasure for years to come. I'm not going to see Stevie for her 24karat tour. I may go see them one last time next year depending on what is released and if the your will feature new music. I will see another Lindsey solo show.

If they were in their 50s, I'd feel the same way. We only have a limited amount of time now, until it's over. I'll only go once per tour, but I want to be there, to close the soundtrack of my life.

YES.I agree. Got ripped off in 1987 without Lindsey there with the other 4 .. No offense to Billy and Rick as they pulled it off ...........I missed the boat when they toured the Mirage album .I was too involve in seeing country concerts then.True country music then that is..Today I would not waste my time and gas to go see any of the currents.

I thought that Rick and Billy turned it into a real jam fest. Some of those songs had a real rock feel to them. Even Christine was soloing on a blues number.

I was glad when Lindsey came back.. but nothing will ever be as good as that Mirage show. They went into another element. And for those of you that got to see it live.

A big... )(*)(*)^&(^&^&$^%*&^(*) U.. lol

But, glad you did get to see it. I think Chili saw both nights in LA

They should have played That's Alright on the Mirage tour in 1982 and there should be videos of it on YouTube.
