God I hope so. 24K Gold is the only album of hers since The Wild Heart that I really like. (I like In Your Dream too, but not near as much.)

I don't think there is a newer album forthcoming otherwise why would she be calling the tour 24KG instead of whatever the new album of vault songs is called. At any rate it will be great to see her tour the album finally .I'd much rather go see her play songs that she has never performed live from a 2 year old album than to go see Fleetwood Mac tour behind a 40 year old album ..again.

Let's hope that "the happening" producer is not Paul Worley, the guy behind Lady Antebellum and Charles Kelley's solo album. He's based in Nashville and Stevie knows that's where to go if you want an album knocked out in a matter of weeks. Jesus I hope I'm wrong about this. If it's true that Dave Stewart is not involved, I will be most disappointed.
With regard to the proposed tour being entitled '24 Karat Gold Tour', I do recall Stevie said whilst promoting the album in 2014 that she might repackage the album at a later date with a second disc of half a dozen 'vault songs'. It could well be the case that she has recorded an EP of tracks that will be tacked onto the existing album, hence the tour promoting the whole package.
I'd actually love it if she took the time to remix/refine the original 24KG album with some better vocal takes here and there and also fix the tempo on certain tracks (some are too fast whilst others are way too slow). However, I know she would not spend the time or money on doing this.
