You poor thing. You have my sympathy. Before I went through menopause, I had horrible periods, though going through 'the change' wasn't too fun either. Just hang in there and have some dark chocolate (if you like it).

Thanks, I'm usually not a whiny person but unfortunately I have the strange side effect of having diarrhea every time my period start and that's what I can't stand.
I like extra-dark chocolate with at least 85% of cocoa.

It's a common side effect. I dealt with that problem too. I think a good cure for it is eating more vegetables, cutting back on caffeine intake, reducing salt intake and drinking water. Doing that seemed to help me.
