Nah....Its all about the power and money. The founding fathers could never imagine what Congress is today. Their goal after getting elected has NOTHING to do with the American people and making their lives better. Its about staying in power and to stay in power involves taking large sums of money from powerful people. Their votes line up exactly how much they are paid from these powerful people.
However its the American people who get the dumb government they deserve. Congress has a 12% approval rating. Yet Americans will re-elect 95% of them. Why would you re-hire someone with a 88% disapproval rating?

Term limits.I dont see anybody anywhere talking about term limits even including Trump.We need elected office term limits across the board to the local level of towns and cities up congress.I agree.I'm so tired to see these career politicians getting lifetime terms in office.I probably said this before .Here in Wallyworld .Our Mayor has been in office since Stevie's Wildheart album was released.Thats awhile back.
