Dear Politicians:

Those of you who use anti-gay rhetoric to rally your base, raise money & build your power, you have the blood of LGBT people on your hands today! Shame on you: Ted Cruz, Texas Lt. Governor Dan Patrick, Rick Santorum, Michele Bachmann, Mike Huckabee, Rick Perry, Sarah Palin, and countless others for using anti-gay rhetoric to further your political career.

I just got a call from my friend which Teddy knows and said Teddy is home safe as he called his son this morning.
The shocker from the call was that Teddy lives right down the road from the place where the shootings took place. Also he said he's been in that place in the past.

What a relief that he is OK.

This isn't about Muslims. That guy was an American citizen, and his religious *freedom* is no lesser than your own. This *is* about easy, unfettered, unmonitored access to military grade assault weapons in this country by anyone with a chip on their shoulder.

No one wants to "ban the guns" as you falsely state. And who the flip cares if you stand with Trump? Have some damn respect and stop making the gruesome death of 50 innocent people about your political beliefs, because this isn't the place for it.
Let's start with you trying to be smart, and then misspelling a word.

Second, Hillary flip flops on EVERYTHING. that's not even debatable

He was muslim and pledged allegiance to ISIS. What Jews/Christians do that? Exactly.

Third, Hillary wants to ban guns. She's said multiple things to make you believe that... GO LOOK IT UP YOURSELF!

I am very upset by anti LGBT politicians . It's none of their business to get into the way people love.

Donald trump has never said anything anti-gay, which a pro for me.

I think this particular assault was about homosexual hate. It was a single man, an American citizen, and it picked on a gay local in a relatively unimportant town.
I think turning this in an occasion to bash on politicians when we have other four, and I say FOUR threads, about that it's really unsensitive guys.

Skip, I'm relieved for your friend too. When France was attacked for a little while it was said that the terrorists could have been in Torino in North Italy, and my bestfriend studies there so I was really worried, I even told her not to go out. Thankfully that was not the case.

Senator Bill Nelson (D/FL): "I asked the FBI if there was any connection to Islamic radicalism, there appears to be"

And he pledged allegiance to ISIS....

It's radical Islamic terrorism.....

True, the night news just said that too. They also said he was in the list of possible jihad sympathizers since 2013. And apparently a few months ago he manifested aggressivity towards a couple of men kissing.

Unhappy

I think if someone wants to make a mark with insane violence they will use anything to justify or excuse it, not just a religion. Mainly I would say this was anti-LGBTQ, and second anti-U.S.A. There are hate stokers against both targets; how can they be kept to a further periphery while still allowing for important freedom of speech? I heard there were radical recruiting videos still on Youtube! Are the people behind websites not members of nations?

Well, Reagan urged fellow politicians to work toward a ban on military style assault weapons from the streets. Then they let the Brady Bill which stemmed from an attack on Reagan to lapse. It amazes me how basic common sense checks and regulations are not in place, I think deliberate confusion and fear-mongering have come before teaching gun safety for a long time much to the benefit of only an arms making industry. An offensive device for defensive purposes would more of an extreme last resort you might think but in the U.S. in some parts has become a go to plan somehow. It's just a tool, it is made to serve one purpose, but an almost religion seems to have been made out of it by the unbalanced. There should never be a question though of people losing access to necessary protection or stigmatizing a rural rifle owner. Americans choose freedom yet live in fear often. It's pretty complicated but that Sandy Hook thing was as horrible as this without any religion angle and I can't see an end in sight for my friends and neighbors. There are always going to be people who offer easy answers but I read somewhere that the simple solutions are usually the most transient.

Does anyone believe gun control is going to change a terrorist
point of view? If you do that's absolutely insane.

They can make bombs, what laws are you going to make about that?
Then can stab you with knives, what laws are you going to make about that?
They can run you over with cars, so on and so forth. Outlaw everything?

Are you going to put some controls over people who want to defend themselves
so they can't? And do you really believe laws are going to prevent anyone from
killing if they so desire?

If you are gay you should be less concerned with Christians and our beliefs.
You may not agree with Christian beliefs, but Christians aren't the ones who
are going to or want to kill you. It's that other religion that no Democrat can
seem to name all of us Americans should be concerned with.

That gunman pledged allegiance to ISIS. Or by another name
RADICAL ISLAM.

How many more attacks before we do something about it?

This is a horrific combination of a hate crime and an ISIS inspired terrorist attack..I just feel sick.

I understood.

I just used your quote because it named Hillary.
She and our President are going to try to make
this a political argument against guns instead of
blaming the problem that they have let happen
under their watch.
