I have to vote for the "Enchanted Tour". By 1998, I was SO TIRED of hearing the SAME songs done OVER and OVER in a Stevie Nicks set list. Never in a million years did I think Stevie would perform "Sleeping Angel", "Rose Garden", "After the Glitter Fades", "Gold and Braid", "Enchanted", "Garbo" and "Twisted" in the same set list. It was THE TOUR I'd been waiting for! Besides, any tour set list that would DROP the tired "No Spoken Word" from the set was a welcome relief (why was this song played on SO MANY tours anyway?).
A CLOSE SECOND for me is that absolute TRAINWRECK that is the "Rock A Little Tour". Girl, this was like watching a bad traffic accident, but it was DELICIOUSLY FUN!! I witnessed two dates on this tour and Stevie was FRIED both times. LOVE IT! Her vocals were pure EXORCISM !! |
