When I answered this question in the other thread I said:
Bella Donna Trouble in Shangri La The Wild Heart 24 Karat Gold The Other Side of the Mirror Rock a Little In Your Dreams Street Angel But now I might go: Bella Donna Trouble in Shangri La 24 Karat Gold The Wild Heart Rock a Little The Other Side of the Mirror In Your Dreams Street Angel I'm so indecisive. |

1. Bella Donna - one of the best albums of the entire 80's decade. The songs are incredibly written, and produced. The music is amazing too. This album is a masterpiece.
2. The Wild Heart - its definitely weaker than Bella Donna but has some great music. 3. The Other Side of the Mirror - this really is a magic album with some of Stevie's best writing since Bella Donna. A great bounce back to real music, real drums from the programmed RAL. 4. Street Angel - this album rocks. Its also a little country. Great music and great songs. 5. Trouble in Shangri La - half the songs on this album are good. Album suffers from almost the same beat throughout the album. Can get boring. Sheryl Crow played it safe and made a boring album. 6. In Your Dreams - not too shabby 7. 24k Gold - great songs but the problem is the original songs or demos sound much better than this quickly recorded album. 8. Rock a Little - one hot mess. Its incoherent with too many random producers. Stevie's voice is shot. Stevie did not write many of the songs and sappy pop songs were given to her to sing. Add this with pure 80's synth sound with drum machines and programmed bass. Even the beautiful "I sing for the things" is ruined by a computer programmed bass line. It takes all the sincerity out of the song. Way too much party in the studio and not a good effort. A funky or pop Stevie high as a kite makes me cringe. To quote Stevie "I really don't need this in my life....why don't we forget about it." My thoughts exactly ![]()

LMAO
Its been a LONG day. I am so sorry. I thought I had written on this thread before but did not pay attention. I thought it was just ranking the albums, not the covers. I am sorry ![]()

1) Trouble in Shangri-La
2) 24 Karat Gold 3) Bella Donna (despite the coke sweats, I love the blue) 4) The Wild Heart 5) Rock A Little (Kind of cool, but she looks like a mob widow) 6) In Your Dreams 7) Street Angel (too pale and washed out) 8) TOSOTM |
