I'm scared to google and find out what Empire of the Sun is...do they also do whispery lyriced, fast picked acoustic songs...?

Oh no...I googled...this could be something.

So the guys are in studios doing other stuff, and Stevie is nowhere to be found. No new FM album.

Meanwhile, 8 or 9 songs no one has ever heard languish...

This is so frustrating.

They are rotting on a shelf. Artistically speaking.

Why, don't they realise...given current climate...that anyone of them, could pop off any time.
They are all in the seventyish area..

Then they would not be recording as FM...it would be FM minus one.
Or not at all, if their recording company sees fit.

It's a valid point. It's been on my mind, too.

I think it's VERY telling that we know the date of another new cash grab tour and DON'T know the date of a new album. DISGUSTING!

lol i was gonna be positive and try to say maybe they are waiting while she's working on her demos for new songs to contribute to FM album, but it doesn't look like it.

Before now, I never was one to beat the drum of "they only have so much time left"... but my favorite musician, Prince, died last week, and just a couple days before that happened, I was anticipating the next time I was going to see him in concert, thinking he would be in my town in a matter of months (or weeks!).

Releasing new music is not a priority for Fleetwood Mac. Either that, or they are in major denial about their ages, or both.

I hope that Christine will release another solo album, while she is still here and in good health. And that Lindsey will too, followed by a Christine & Lindsey tour of small theaters.

That would be much more exciting for me than a new FM album and/or another oldies tour. If we can believe what was said about the new material when Christine and Lindsey were in the studio together, they still have that fire.
