This is bad news for Fleetwood Mac fans.
If she's been working with Dave on tracks then that can surely only mean a SN Songs From The Vault. Surely he wouldn't be producing songs for a FM release???? I mean he could, but surely he's need music made by Chris, Lindsey, John and Mick in the first place. I'm pretty certain Stevie hasn't done anything creatve with FM so there wouldn't be any Mac material available for Dave to work on.

I'd guess she's working with Dave on material for a SN album for release later this year.
She may still join FM in May/April to work on FM material for a release at the end of the year/early 2017.
Another Stevie 24K album is warmly welcome to me. She may be producing demos for FM's album at the same time. Any FM project will take little of her time and energy anyway.

2014 anyone?

next we'll read that 4 members of FM are in the studio working on some great new songs while the only one they still need to add some contributions hightails to nashville.

For me as well, as long as she still leaves a few strong tracks for the FM album.

She has a huge desire to sell another 20 thousand copies of her old music that never made the light of day...

I don't know. The question specifically refers to a Fleetwood Mac album, and he answers that Stevie and Dave are working on "her tracks" rather than saying "a solo project" or something like that. That makes me think he meant "her tracks for the FM album." Maybe she's just developing her demos a bit more with Dave so that Lindsey will understand the vision she has for the songs.

Obviously I could be way off, but given the way the question and answer each read, I didn't necessarily think 24KG Volume 2.

I tend to agree.. can't really read into it... I lean toward FM album.. Based on knowing she's not been comfortable working with Lindsey and know they don't have much agreement and chemistry when writing... I wish Christine would work with Stevie more. Those two could make incredible music. They just need to break thru the wall.

Maybe she is using Dave to go over the new FM cuts.Nothing wrong with that.

Y'all, Stevie has fleshed out demos to bring to FM since the Tusk era. Possibly before that. Songs like Smile At You and so many others have been confirmed as being born outside of FM with session musicians. I think Stevie does this to make herself feel like an equal. Chris & Lindsey flesh out their own songs because they play instruments; Stevie doesn't, so she needs help bringing her concepts to fruition. This is absolutely nothing new.
