I concur. Lindsey touted Christine's return signaled as a new chapter in the band. I assume, beyond their oldies world tour, that meant a new album. If the Rumours configuration of the band had made more than five studio albums, it wouldn't matter too much to me. I suppose all the solo albums sort of make up for lack of a few more albums they could have made as the five fireflies.

Given the numerous upheavals this band has faced in it's circuitous history, it's amazing the brand/band has even survived. Yet, time is ticking, and sooner than later Fleetwood Mac will retire. As a lifelong fan, I can't imagine the idea of not wanting them to give us one more album of new music; a parting gesture from themselves to their fans. Naysayers damn the light! Tours are fleeting moments in time. Albums form a lasting legacy.
