anyone win boston tix to private show

i know pattie won , congrats pattie have a blast.!

but did anyone else win.? is there a winners list on the club site or micks, that maybe someone could post here? a friend of mine emailed me because i told him about th e contest , and he is a club member but he never received an email telling him how to enter. I dont want to start anything here but i would hate to think they are being selective with the memberships, for contests, that would stink.

A few people on Mick's site have posted that they won and I saw some winners on some other message boards.

It's odd that they didn't post a winners list this time when they have for all of the other contests. Isn't that weird?

I have read that depending on which mail service you use, some of those club emails have been known to go the trash bin. I'm sorry your friend didn't know about this contest so they could enter.

Maybe we should urge the club to post a winners list, perhaps someone did win and wouldn't know because they didn't get the email. They must have the winners in some list form to use the night of the taping so there shouldn't be any reason it can't be posted or sent in email.

I also was thinking it odd that there is no winners list. With 300 + winners, I thought we would see a lot more winners. I also saw some posts where people couldn't attend because the airfare was over $1000. If people really don't think they can go, then, IMO, they shouldn't enter. It just takes away an opportunity for those that can go.

I think it's strange that no winnners list has been posted also. Didn't someone say there was another email sent out with additional seats to win? I only received the first one, not the second.

On another note, I MAY have an extra ticket for this show, as many people I know cannot take off for 2 days to go on this short notice (I'm self-employed, screw it, I'm taking off!!!)

As soon as I know for sure, I'll let you guys know. I"m sure there's someone here who can make it!

lasindy won tickets. She asked me to go with her, but I'm just going back to work tomorrow after Jason's death, so dammit, I'm missing another "opportunity of a lifetime" because of stupid work....

I hope they prove me wrong but I don't think FM will be serving up anything new for this taping. It will be nice to see them with only 1000 or so people around. Congratulations to all that won and to those of you wanting to go, I hope you are able to score a ticket. I can't wait to hear the reviews.

Since they're bound to get some turn downs, if you're interested in going you could (choke) bring yourself to call the fanclub and see if they'll accomodate local people from the rejections they receive. Aside from having to talk to them, it's worth a shot.

If i won i would be telling the world that i finally won somthing,lol . like i said earlier ,i live in boston and the fleetcenter is within driving minutes for me. i dont know if they had 300 tix, where are all the winners. maybe if all these ppl cant go , maybe they will eventually sell these tickets to the public. ok more phone calls to be made tomorrow.... lol..... i know you guys won these tickets but i would be even willing to buy one. thanks send a message if you have any info for me.

Someone posted on Burnish that they emailed the fanclub and were able to get some turn down tickets to the PBS taping. If you live in the area and think you can make it there, email and call them. Maybe they'll be generous and want to fill the empty seats with the most die hard fans. It seems like it's worth a try.

I forgot, the person was a fanclub member so it might help you to mention that.

This is one time where I'm actually kicking myself for not joining the club.

I won front row tickets back in July for this Wednesday's show, but now I'm dying to go to the Tuesday show. I called the radio station today and talked to the woman Karen who picked me as the winner back in July and she said she'll find out anything she can for Tuesday's show and if she can score tickets since they want it filled. I'm crossing my fingers!!

They're taping both shows, so *maybe* we'll get lucky and hear a couple different songs. Lindsey has said he wanted to do Red Rover, so you never know...

Good luck to us all, though. The parking at the Fleet Center SUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCKS!!! The Fleet Center doesn't have their own parking, so everyone has to park in different, privately owned lots. Some are five minutes from the venue, others are fifteen. Because of the parking situation, *everything* gets clogged up in that part of Boston. The concert will get out at probably eleven and it'll probably take another two and a half hours to get back onto the freeway. God help us.
