McVie tree lighting (Belgravia)

[jenniferuk]

Christine took part in a tree lighting and for whatever reason I can't embed the tweets from Wistla. I'll paste part of the text and upload the photos.

'Please come and join the blessing of the tree in Wilton crescent and lights turned on by Chris McVie of fleetwood Mac . Mulled wine and snacks'

Christine looks rock and roll fantastic for someone who is old enough to be someone's great grandmother. Interesting that both she and Stevie were fated to never have children, while Mick, John and Lindsey are now all family men with children.

Well during the window of time that Stevie and Christine could have gotten pregnant, their lives were dedicated to Fleetwood Mac. Touring and recording, not much time to care of a baby. Not to mention all the alcohol and weed and cocaine they were consuming during those years. Stevie almost had a baby with Don Henley and what if Christine had a baby with John or Dennis Wilson? Could you imagine those kid's childhoods?

You remember your childhood. In fiery sequences, the sun goes down.

Tree blessing? How do you bless a tree?

Ha. Yes, do you break a bottle of champagne over its bough?

I agree .Chris looks great in the photo.

To bad things did not go with not having kids.We could have another generation of Mac continuing the tradition of the band we love.

I never thought of it that way.

You know things are slow in a forum when the last post was about Christine's tree lighting, after nearly a full month into the new year!

Has she sold her house in Kent yet?
Any romantic or musical connections happening with her?
ANYTHING????

Where are all the Christine fans at?!
