Anyone else find it weird that they trash each other in interviews about recording, yet they seem like best friends at events like this?

Yeah don't think they're a couple. They seem to just enjoy each others company. Besides Mick has a girlfriend (not that that is relevant, as we all know what Mick was like) and Stevie has said multiple times in past recent interviews that if she were to have a lover one day he would have to be much younger.
Btw, Mick's daughters are lovely looking ladies. I remember looking at a picture of them a year ago and they looked so tiny. |

[From a Broadway World article on Sierra Boggess] 12/22/2016 by Michael Dale
http://www.broadwayworld.com/article...eatre-20151222 She's been a big Barbra Streisand fan since childhood and insists that any complaints about music legend being difficult to work with come from her being a woman who speaks up for herself. Boggess uses her admiration for Streisand to fuel her character's passion for Stevie Nicks. "We're celebrating rock and (lead male character Dewey) references all of these different people within the show that are his inspirations, and Stevie Nicks is the only female represented in the rock world. It makes me want to cry just thinking about it.... And I think that's, subconsciously, what Rosalie Mullins is relating to is this woman who has paved the way... She's the head of one of the most established, prestigious schools and all of the other teachers are older than she is. And as a woman to be holding this up and the responsibilities and the pressures that she's under to show up a certain way, that informed how I walk and how I talk. That goes back to the [idea of] coming from a place of truth. All of the expectations that there are on her, as a young woman, to be running a school of that caliber, it's a lot." |

[From an interview with Alex Brightman]
Stacy Lambe , KUSA 6:08 AM. MDT June 08, 2016 Channel 9 News http://www.9news.com/entertainment/e...tops/237137049 With that much energy going into the show, which features a mini-rock concert at the end of the performance, it's any wonder Brightman still is much of a morning person. "It's the weirdest combination of exhausted and wired," he explains. "You're wired because you just did a show. But with this one, you just did a show and you also did a rock concert. Your brain is going, 'OK, where is the after-party?'" But now, it doesn't stop when the musical is over. In April, Stevie Nicks surprised the audience with a lively rendition of "Rhiannon" while backed by the show's talented performers. And Brightman says it's only the beginning. "That was the first time we attempted that and quite successfully," he says. "We have a couple of things lined up." Though he won't say who, the surprise after-show performances will fall in line with Nicks, whose music is featured in the musical, and Jack Black, who Brightman says has interest in returning to the show to perform. "It's just something we want to offer artists: 'Want to play with some of the best musicians on Earth right now? Surprise, they're 12,'" he says. |
