Danny Kirwan, the Sad, Beautiful Ghost of Fleetwood Mac

[LesPaul7]

Off the top of my head: Kirwan takes solos on Coming Your Way, Oh Well, Without You, Something Inside of Me. Those are all studio album examples from the PG era. He plays some lead on the Madge Jams as well, but not the fast, blistering licks. He plays lead on One Sunny Day as well, although not a solo.

Live he plays lead on most of the blues songs he sings, except for Loving Kind, that's Green.

Kirwan has always been more of a guitar composer, in my opinion. He layers harmony guitars on When You Say and My Dream. Also on songs from other FM albums like Dust. His first two solo albums as well. He played some great lead during the live tours after Green also.
