I don't recall Stevie ever bragging about her wealth, which is a unbecoming, classless Trump-like trait. Just my opinion, but I think that is a sensitive subject for most people. Aren't there are more appropriate topics to discuss than one's profit margins?

She has before. I remember her saying something like she got a check for $7 million for Landslide. She has said things before about some big checks she received.

But she wasn't bragging exactly. I mean she brags all the time, but with the Landslide check she lamented losing friends over her success. Michele

I find it sort of refreshing that she talks about her money. It shows that she knows she's rich, like her view of the world isn't so warped that she doesn't know the value of a dollar. And it shows that she says what she thinks and not just talking points carefully arranged by a publicist.

Then again, I've mostly heard her talk about it in the context of "I went from cleaning lady to millionaire overnight! $100 bills in the laundry! How crazy!"

But I also heard her discuss money in the context of how expensive FM's concert tickets are now, and how digital music has ruined record labels, etc. Subjects maybe people don't want to talk about but which should really be discussed.

And tbh I'd rather be adding to Stevie and Christine's millions than Katy Perry or Taylor Swift's.

Both Stevie and Christine have always been really good with their money (especially Chris). This new fortune money is icing on the cake. Katy Perry will not be on stage in 40 years so she better make as much as she can now.

I agree.Katy,Taylor and the rest of their generation of artists will be unknowns by the time they reach Stevie's age .I probably wont be here to see it.Some of them might still glow as a star in 40 years but probably not that many.

I hope they are saving and investing their cash for the future. Its sad to see these younger bands and artists dont have any pull for longevity like the Mac,Beatles and the rest of that generation.I hope they make up a 401K retirement package for these artists through their unions for they atlease have something when they reach the retirement age.Or they have something already for that.
