"Tusk" is my favorite album, so the more songs done live from that album, the better! If they were going to drop any songs from that amazing album, then I'm glad they were replaced by more "Tusk tunes!" Lol!

Sad to see "Sisters Of The Moon" go. It was a major highlight for me this year, especially because it was creepier and more ominous in her lower vocal register. It might never return to the set, so I'm glad I got the chance to see it live, as well as "Storms" and "Beautiful Child" on previous tours. Here's hoping that "Angel" makes it back to the set one last time before they retire as a band!

I was just VERY pleased. I much prefer it to Over My Head. I've got a copy too, but from five rows back so the sound might be a might clearer. Will post when I'm able to.
Thank you in advance!!

I'm so glad you finally get to see them. I mush prefer this. I thought OMH was dull in the set in Los Angeles. I like her story about Malibu.. but the song was a damper on the energy..

Stevie looks lost on her parts a bit and Lindsey looks like he is struggling to remember how to play it.. Can't hear Chris that well. It can only get better.. Can't wait to hear a better quality..

Brining Think About Me back is an awesome idea. I've never been lucky enough to see them do it live, but I remember hearing it on a bootleg tape of one of the last concerts on the Tusk tour and just loving it. I hope one day I can hear it live.

And just so that everyone remembers, their Tusk tour was very long, and they did actually change the setlist up a bit towards the end of that tour, which is why we have the lovely version of Over and Over on the Fleetwood Mac live disc. So they do change things up a little if the tour is long enough. I just wish they would do that on alternate nights during the same part of the tour. I think it would make things slightly more spontaneous for them and it would be throwing die hard fans who go to multiple shows a big ol' bone.

Sisters had a good run but it was time for it to go. I think it got better for sure as the tour progressed. If you ask me, Beautiful Child really should have made a return appearance after the SYW tour. It's a beautiful song and it works so well on stage. I'm a little sad to see Over My Head leave the set. It was a surprise highlight for me. Bleed to Love Her is OK but Save Me a Place would have been a home run!!!!

Wow, I can't believe I'm hearing Think About Me again. Bleed To Love Her is also a nice surprise. Here's hoping that they'll add even more songs like this in the future... The same old same old for the past several tours is grating on my nerves

This is correct. I was in third row centre and the sound and vocals were brilliant! I've never been to an opening night before, but it was amazing how strong all three singers' voices were throughout the concert - hope they can keep it up on what is short tour (for them).

Rumours of Fleetwood Mac’s demise prove wrong

[click for audio]

http://www.theaustralian.com.au/arts...-1227577630462

THE AUSTRALIAN OCTOBER 22, 2015 12:00AM by Iain Shedden

Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood takes pride in being part of one of music’s greatest soap operas, the band’s landmark 1977 album Rumours.

“The album is a chronicle of everything that happened with us on a personal level, which became a story almost too out of control, but the quality of the way we *approached that album sonically, it’s very natural,” Fleetwood, 68, said in Sydney yesterday.

The drummer, a founding member of one of the world’s most successful and enduring rock acts, will be joined by Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John McVie and Christine McVie on stage in Sydney tonight as the veteran band begins its On With the Show Australian tour.

The shows, which come at the end of a world tour, mark the return to the Australian stage of Christine McVie, who quit the band in 1998, but rejoined at the beginning of last year. Her return reunites the line-up whose fractious relationships formed the lyrical backbone of the Rumours album and shot them to international superstardom.

“She is a dear friend to all of us,” said Fleetwood, “even when she wasn’t in the band, so to have her back and with such a level of enthusiasm is a joy to see. It’s fair to say that Stevie is happy to not just be surrounded by a bunch of ex-boyfriends.”

Nicks was in a relationship with Buckingham when they both joined Fleetwood Mac in 1975, but after they split she had an affair with Fleetwood, who was married at the time.

Fleetwood has been the only constant in the band since it began as a blues rock outfit in *England in the 1960s and believes he has been partly responsible for keeping the group together through its many turbulent *periods.

“I don’t write the songs, I don’t sing the songs, but in a way that has been my contribution to a bunch of wonderful, crazy people, present and past, that have come through Fleetwood Mac.”

The drummer, who has also toured Australia with his blues band, said that a new album would be forthcoming from Fleetwood Mac.

“There will be a new record,” he said.

“John and myself and Lindsey cut a lot of stuff about three years ago, which remains in our swollen archive. Much later we recorded with Christine. Whether Stevie becomes a part of that we’re not quite sure. I live in hope that it will work out.

“We’re not done yet, that’s the main thing.”
