Default FM parodies

FM parodies

The 2nd GYOW is hilarious...although the person who wrote it probably stole the idea from SNL...

Here's one for a couple of Stevie's songs...

Stevie parodies

One for Lindsey....

"Tried to turn away from them
Like a credit card can bend
No police call my name
No officer came"

I LOVE those, Livia! C'mon folks, let's do some song parodies like the ones we did for Stevie's dress!

"Shrub Is Sore," now that was hilarious! But I think my favorite was the second GYOW, was I the only one who could actually hear them saying "You can grow your own weed." These are my kind of people...LOL!

It's not really an FM or Stevie parody since it's Tom Petty's song...

but does anyone remember Wierd Al's unreleased parody "Stop Draggin My Car Around" ? It's a gem.

If you listened to the Dr. Dimento radio show in the late 70's and early '80's you heard Al's original parodies of

"My Balogna" and "Another One Rides the Bus" which have since been redone.

I don't think he's ever redone or released SDMCA.

I have an mp3 of SDMCA that's from the Dr. Dimento basement tapes and it's decent quality

but I wish Al would redo that one like he's redone some other old songs he put in his stage show.

I took my son to see the "Poodle Hat" tour last week. It was our first concert together.

My son's had to hear about Stevie and FM his whole life and says he hates it, but he really was impressed when I pulled that song out of my bag of tricks.
