I once gathered a class of 15-year olds around a table and gave a demonstration. Whilst doing the demo I got my knee stuck in the table's double-table leg. I sent the students away to perform the task and sat there for a full 20 minutes trying to free myself without letting on to the kids. My knee had swolen up and got to a stage where it was impossible to free. I had to fess-up to the kids and send one of them to get help. My wife (to be) was the school nurse. I didnt really know her that well at the time. She came up with washing liquid, rolled my trousers (pants) up and started massaging. It was a bit surreal. It was a good lesson. The kids didnt make a big thing of it and got on with their work. Of course, it was a major bonding incident for the two us and we've been together for the next 14 years. This has been going on for years, and I'm not at all squeamish about needles, but *one time* the phlebotomist jostled my arm with her fat ass, and I assume she pushed the needle into a nerve. It was the most excruciating thing I've ever experienced. Like cold steel running in my veins. I said nothing, and just toughed it out, but now I get a very real fear every time I go in for blood draws. 6. What do you think of hot dogs? I don't eat 'food products'.
