Default Why no 24K Gold Remixes?

This is her best album since The Wild Heart and songs like 24K Gold, Belle Fleur, Starshine, The Dealer, Mabel Normand deserve remixes and extended versions but there has been nothing. The ball has just been dropped completely. Get cracking!

Remixes and extended versions have sense when there are singles.

You both got a point here.I would love to hear a remix of these tunes.

More likely the tunes above probably got no or little radio airplay and still unknown to some music fans.

The only way it could happen is the Music Mixer "DJ" artist is a fan of Stevie's or he/she knows what is released and like to remix of the tunes .

Too bad the track stems are not released .We can make our own.

Not to mention that the days of singles are quite over. Once there was market for remixes but now they're just for a DJ's personal satisfaction.

Yea .I missed the days 30 plus years ago walking to my local record shop picking out 45s
and 12 inch singles and walking back home with them in a hurry before they melt in the hot summer sun.

Thank goodness my friend unload a truck load of vinyl on my last summer. There were alot of 12 inch mix singles from the 1980's an 90's in the collection.

What do you mean singles are over? They are a lot more popular than albums. The day of albums is over.

Yes but now you download singles, you don't but them physically.
Before when you bought a CD or vinyl single you had a B side or a bunch of deep tracks or remixes or extended versions along with it, now you click and just get the song you're interested in. That way you could discover new songs that you may like and would eventually want to buy the entire album.
Actually when I was younger album were appreciated by my peers more than singles (also for the reason I listed), I think it's more that albums aren't considered to be an art form anymore.

Default Remixes

I think its just par for the course that Nicks is a legacy artist so there will be limited amounts of promotion that the record company will do, unfortunately.

Better than 1988's Uncirculated Rumours 3 lp set???

If the sound quality issues were fixed, I know which one I'd prefer.

I still buy singles. Gaga, Madonna, Franz Ferdinand, Kasabian and Depeche Mode come to mind for recent purchases - but only when they're on vinyl. I'd buy a remix of 24 Karat Gold (the song).

If the days of singles are over, it's because the days of record labels producing product are over. They are the cause of their own problems.
