Imagine that awesome feeling just knowing how many millions of dollars you will be able to lavish your family and yourself with when this tour is over. THAT alone would thrill ME to the ends of the earth and no amount of exhausting traveling would affect me in any negative way. I could go on and on but I think you get my point. And this point applies to any top rock and roll band that exists in this world.

Agree traveling for them isn't like for any normal person because they have STAFF doing all the heavy lifting. But it has to get tedious; every place starts to look the same. Even Chris, while admitting they travelled pretty posh in their days before she left, said she got sick of touring.

After a bit you must just long for the chance to be in your own home, with your own stuff, spending time with your own family doing things on your own schedule. And after 30 or 40 years the novelty aspect of people wanting to see you wears off. I think they still appreciate it in terms of selling out shows, but on a daily basis people telling you how much they love you kinda becomes normal. A lot of really famous people say after while of that you start to long for the ability to be a bit more anonymous when you are offstage and have normal interactions with people. They hear it every.single.day, for decades. It does seem Lindsey has managed to have some of that when he's on the road, getting out and around pretty well with no entourage. He's also said physically the road is no harder now than in the past. Stevie clearly has a different take on that.

First world problems, to be sure.
