If you're in LA, you could drive by the Village Recorder (now just called "The Village"), where Tusk was recorded. It's in West L.A., on the corner of Santa Monica Blvd. and Butler Ave., about 6 blocks west of I-405. If you drive south on Butler, on the wall of The Village building, you can still see the cool mural of an earthquake-damaged freeway hanging out over the ocean, as seen in the FM "Tusk" documentary.

If I ever go to LA, I'll definitely stop at Village Recorder. I'd like to see their star on the Walk of Fame if I go there too.

I think Lindsey went to his 40th. I remember seeing pictures of him at a reunion awhile ago.

Visit the Haight/take a pic in front of Fillmore....wish I had more for you off the top of my head. If I were still living there I'd have invited you over to view the shrine. LMAO. You are more than welcome to do so if ever in Oregon
Were you featured on the OR news a few ears back when FM was in town playing the Rose Garden/Moda?

I've been in Sausalito's Record Plant twice. First time I went with ledgie BN who kindly took me there. We stopped also at the high school where L&S met the first time, but it was at sunset so it was pretty dark.

I'd love to see the restaurant at LA where S&L met the band and agreed to join. It would be a definitive stop if I ever go again to Los Angeles.
