I posted seven of them on my site. Strand, I think I caught part of that movement during GDW that you were talking about. If I hadn't been in the nosebleeds, these would have turned out better. AND if my battery hadn't DIED, I'd have one of them doing their We Belong Together pose™ at the end.

That indeed looks like the motion I was talking about. She seemed to do it about 6 times to the rythym of the music.

Dont kill me...but Stevie looks quite a bit heavier than I when I last saw her. Are my eyes deceiving me?

Yes, Stevie is heavier than at the beginning of the tour. It mostly is in her caboose, which still looked good to my eyes

Having said that, she was absolutely beautiful and energetic. So, the hell with any minor weight gain of maybe 10 pounds. It means nothing to me if she is happy with it.

I pray this observance does not turn into a Stevie bashing or any other negative commentary on Stevie's weight. She looked fine and sounded even better!

for the love of pete like anyone could really detect a 10 pound weight gain from those pictures....please.....enough is enough about discussing her weight

I hope they "carry on" like they did here!!! That was so great!!!! Something tells me that although I really enjoyed the first leg, they have gotten their "sea legs" and are back with vengence!!!!

Stevie looked much more svelte in real life than she appears there, though. She looked just beautiful that night.
Again, not to start a back and forth thing........ she really looked much better than that in real life.

I also noticed how great Stevie looks up close and personal...I was close...and I would look at her and go WOW SHE'S BEAUTIFUL...then I would look up and see her on the screens...and I was like why does she look better in front of my face...I think she is absolutely beautiful...iincredible...

That is a good lesson in what lighting and camera angle can do. Stevie and the band are being shot from a distance with great stage lighting but not so great camera lighting. So, on the big screen (which also has the problem of limited resolution) they look like they have severer lines in their faces then they really do. This effect is created by the shadows associated with far away lighting and punctuated by the limited and grainy resolution big screen. So, while I love the big screen projection, it has its limitations in a live setting such as this.

Also, they are very clever on how they are shot even from that angle and distance. For example, when at her mic., Stevie is almost always shot from the waist up and the beading and ribbons hanging from her mic. stand add a black vertical line to her. This is very smart of her as it is very flattering to an already beautiful woman of 55.
