clearly she's projecting from her own problems to the whole band. it's not like she looks very mobile on the stage either.

actually, i really don't get why she doesn't find more comfortable shoes that could still fit her image if she has so much problems moving around. Cyndi Lauper performs in cool combat boots these days and does tons of dancing and easily moves around covering the stage these days, while she used to wear high hills in her younger days, and pokes fun at it now. i guess it's image before health for some, while others have no problems re-vamping their image.

of course, you are reading only Stevie's side of the story, and she obviously likes to be melodramatic.

i haven't seen Lindsey saying in the interviews that he doesn't want to talk to her. i've just seen him saying she doesn't want to work on new material with the rest of the band (which interestingly now in this interview she turns around and decides to blame the rest of the band spending holidays with their families for no new material? )

well, she got so much blowback for her so-called "frankenboks" all over the internet and everywhere that she went back to the boots…although she's been wearing the ankle high ones rather than the knee high ones. However the heels on those were still about 3 inches, which will kill your back for sure.

well they have to actually look good lol. it's not like she can't afford both comfortable and good-looking shoes. Cyndi's combat boots are not ugly, they fit with the rest of her outfits.

I was irritated when I read that. I mean, Chris, Lindsey, and Mick have told Rolling Stone that a new album is definitely going to follow the tour, and that Stevie could participate if she wishes to. But the journalist of this article paraphrases Stevie's "we'll see" attitude as if it were the mindset of the entire band.

I am still beyond annoyed that Stevie has not committed to working on the new record in any affirmative way. It's really frustrating for all of us who have been waiting and waiting and waiting for these five to come out with new material.
