I'm actually interested in buying a physical copy but I don't know where people do that? Is it a UK newsstand magazine or? I'm a bit confused. ^^ thanks~

She's been making a lot of appearances out & about these past couple of years, but it seems like it is always that same uniform. However, despite all my moaning and groaning about fashion choices, I am truly happy she's getting such good exposure. Take note rest of the band: Having new product equals more promotion. Sure wish they could all get together and work on getting a group effort out.
I know. just something we haven't seen ever before, or at least not for a long time would have been awesome but apparently this is what Stevie feels good in these days. I'm just grateful for the hat - new and a departure from the standard top hat she's been wearing. And it's not black! I also think her hair looks amazing.

I totally agree that Liz Rosenberg is the instrumental party and deserves significant credit for securing this cover article. However, isn't she also the Fleetwood Mac publicist? If so, that may be another reason for the internal band tension - regardless of whether or not FM has a product to promote.

So how young was the waiter that they couldn't be seen together in public?

I love the current tour version of Gypsy as well. One of the highlights of the night for me.

The article says .

"In the late Nineties, she tries dating a younger, nonfamous dude - a waiter, in fact - but that didn’t work either. “I was 50 and he was 30, and he was a very old 30 - he had two little boys and was a very nice man,” she recalls, sitting on a maroon couch in her living room, where a vocal mic is still rigged up overhead. On the glass coffee table are her burn cream; a water-damaged copy of an Oscar Wilde anthology she’s had for decades, filled with her old underlinings; two unlit candles; a book about Jimi Hendrix; and a bowl decorated with the lyrics of “Landslide” - a gift from the Dixie Chicks. “And he really cared about me.” But she found the situation embarrassing and tried to keep him under wraps. “One day, he came home and said, “I got two tickets for Bill Maher, will you go with me?” and I’m like, ‘Are you insane!? No, I’m not going. I’m famous! I’m Stevie Nicks! Everybody’s gonna spend the whole time taking pictures of us. And I can’t keep on making excuses about why you can’t go anywhere I can go. Like, can I take you to the Grammys? No. Can I go the market with you? No. Can we go to a movie together in downtown Santa Monica? No. All we can do is stay in.”

I can't help but burst out laughing when she waves her hand like the queen singing "heey heey heey". Not sure if that's a good or a bad thing.

From the RS article.

When Nicks took care of a drunken and upset Vanessa Carlton one night, she told her, “That’s what mommies do for their babies” - and she flew to New York at the end of 2014 to be around for the due date of Carlton’s child.

Seems Vanessa was a little late in presenting Stevie with her newest God Daughter (one would imagine)

So that's why she was in NYC for new years.

Hey, if Madonna can take someone who is young enough to be her son, it's OK for Stevie to date someone who is late 30s.

So essentially, Stevie was telling this man, "I'm embarrassed to be seen in public with you." I bet that made him feel soooooooooo special.

Our girl has the strangest insecurities, doesn't she? I would have been showing off my "younger man" if I were in her position! Kathy Griffin's new boyfriend is 20 years younger and I think they are adorable together!

I don't want stevie hurting herself, it's very unhealthy to smoke pot.

But looking on the brightside Stevie is Writing

I think your wrong about that. Stevie has to do TV shows and interviews because she has no other outlet to promote her music. She could of been a media whore in the 1980s like Madonna but chose not to.

All Stevie's networking has paid off. People like Adam Levine, Jimmy Iovine, Sharon Osborne... want her on their shows because she played her cards right and she has the music to back it up. Liz may helped with Dancing with the Stars, but Stevie has done most of it.

I'm very surprised that she was, for the very first time ever, so direct about it. She has always been so forthright about cocaine, but always avoided mentioning pot. Since pot is becoming more mainstream, acceptable and legal, maybe she feels more comfortable with revealing that she uses it. But it's really no surprise. And it's far less dangerous and harmful than alcohol. I would love to hang with her and Bill Maher and some cannabis.

The only thing this article promoted was Stevie's rock status as a cultural icon. There was very little serious discussion regarding her new album. It's indirect musical promotion at best.

She had this opportunity to promote her new album. So what does she do? She gives us a bare-bones performance of a 33-year old Fleetwood Mac song. Is this kind of promotion doing her any commercial favors? Relying heavily on past artistic achievements seems to take precedent over establishing new ones. Fleetwood Mac is doing that now. Why not? Milking the legacy of their cash cow is easy. They need very little promotion to do that.

Poor Stevie, cougars weren't 'in' yet in the nineties.
