You Can't Fix This - cocaine use and her son-in-law?
Street Angel - homelessness compared to her life of luxury

A very good gathering!
How about this addition: Italian Summer - seasonal weather report/warnings

I should correct myself and not say that she isn't good at writing topical songs, because I like all these songs for all their quirks, which are uniquely Stevie. I should just say that she treads shaky ground when she attempts to write songs of historical importance. None of them reach the level where they could become prominently associated with the events/topic.

In year 12 English (Advanced) one of our prescribed texts was the Smithsonian Museum 9.11 Memorial website...some girl in my class chose Illume (9-11) as the related text used for a comparative literature analysis.

Very surprising! Tell me more if you will. Was her analysis shared with others? How was it received? It would be an interesting read!
