How often does Stevie tour Europe solo? - Page 3

Basically the "Stevie" songs of Fleetwood Mac. I don't care much for the guy singing, except Go Your Own Way and Little Lies.

They could let stay Stand Back in the setlist for thist tour... at least this Stevie´s song, which is my very favourite...

I'll put Standback on hold and I love to see Stevie and the Mac sing Silent Night before Chris closes up the show at last few shows before Christmas.

"The guy" is Lindsey Buckingham. The LADY singing "Little Lies" is Christine McVie

"Stand Back" was in pretty much every Fleetwood Mac setists from 1987 - 2009, not including the "Another Link In The Chain" tour or The Dance DVD (it was on The Dance tour setlist).

"Stand Back" is great fun live and Stevie always has a blast performing it, but it really does stick out like a sore thumb in the Mac set.

I found a nice set list website; apparently she performed Stand Back with FM on last year's tour. Seems to be cut out for this year? I don't see it in any of the concerts.

stand back is not in fm's set this year

Many people have said that it's hard to tell who is singing what on Don't Stop. So, although I can distinguish them as I'm sure most of us here can, maybe in some cases Christine sounds like a man or Lindsey sounds like a woman, but it's really not the first time that people have been confused.

I too remember being a new fan and thinking Christine sounded like a man, and not realising that Don't Stop was a duet. A young male vocalist could sing Little Lies in a style that was typical for late 80s pop and it would sound very much the same. That's just the truth, and it certainly isn't a comment against Christine, who's voice I adore.

And twinmatrix, they really don't change the setlist much beyond a few songs from tour to tour. The inclusion of even one song that hasn't been heard live for a while is considered an absolute coup in fandom. This tour's looks rather good! Although if you're really just a Stevie fan it'd probably have been better a few years ago when Christine was still absent and Stevie had more star-time in the setlist. Oh well. I wouldn't hold my breath for a Stevie solo tour in Europe, sadly. She teased us a few years ago when she went to London for an album-signing and said she was sort of "taking the temperature" as to how successful a tour there would be, but it seems she just really lacks the inclination.
