I came across this and thought it was really cool. Is it too late to enter?
They can keep the levis wardrobe though. But levis was so early 80s! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_XKtm97duc8 Last edited by Macfan4life; 10-28-2014 at 09:40 AM.. |

so funny that "one night stand!" "how was it for you?" part made it into that commercial.

I wonder who won it? It would be so great if they were a Ledgie and could give us a run down of the event.

I would love to talk to the people that won too. Did anyone ever see the behind the scenes of this clip? It takes forever and a million takes for Stevie to say those few sentences. She kept screwing it up. But this is part of her famous "I want my MTV" promo that appeared later that year. I will have to look for it on youtube but she cant quite get her lines.

I feel so ancient watching these clips because I was part of the youth demographic that MTV was catering to. I remember the very beginning, when MTV had VJays! It was so cheesy, as were most of the videos. Even though I was more fascinated with the culture and music artists of the 1960s, I couldn't escape the 1980s. However, even though there were quite a few bands/artists from that era that I bonded with, I had little appreciation for much of the style or sound. I have a more forgiving perspective to that time now, and to all the the artists I shunned.

Even more hilarious is the outtakes in which John asks Christine ' Fancy a one night stand you'll never forget...or perhaps you did'. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c92HzMgS6Ss Lovely |

They all are on the white stuff. Lindsey's sunglasses are a giveaway, and you can hear John say to Christine at one point when she's laughing "you're high as a ****ing kite." |

24 year old Randy Lane?
Is it me or did people in years gone by look a hell of a lot older than they do now? Randy looked more like 44. |

Archie Bunker (Carol O'Connor) was in his late '40s/early 50s in "All In The Family"
