Default Is there going to be a Say You Will concert DVD?

I was just wondering because it seems like whenever popular artists go on tour they always come out with a DVD these days. I would love to see the whole concert and then a documentary of the making of the new album, maybe with a tour of the house that they rented so we could really see what life was like for them. I think that would be awesome. They could also include the VH1 All Access episode. They have hardly shown it on tv at all. I saw it once the first week it came out and it has yet to be on tv again! Anyway, has anyone heard anything about a possible dvd of SYW?

Well, I have a feeling this doc that we've been hearing about that LB is apparently putting together will be like the Tusk doc in that it will have interview & session footage along with a few songs from some SYW tour concerts but I don't think it'll be a straight "nothing but concert performance" deal like, say, "The dance" (though given the choice, I'd prefer that over interview stuff etc. but I'll buy it anyways).

My bet is no. Warner won't fork over a penny more than it has to for it's older acts like FM and Stevie.

I wouldn't be so sure. They're putting alot into the production of the video screens on tour, so there may be something more to that. There is the doc that Lindsey has been working on, plus the recently found tapes from the Rumours tour. It all has to go somewhere, right?

Who is Nickel Creek?

Time magazine named them one of the Top Innovators of Music, and their latest CD, "This Side", won a Grammy for best contemporary folk album!

That's who!

Those Rumours tour tapes aren't really that newly found as Mick apparently claims. I don't know when they were found (if they were even "lost" in the first place) but they've been circulationg for at least 2 or 3 years now that I know of, probably longer.

I agree with you totally..

I am sure if FM want a DVD, then they WILL TELL Warner that they WANT it!!! lol

Especially Stevie!

I read in an interview that its turning into a world tour...they r going to Australia, New Zealand..poss Hawaii next year too.

So, this is really gonna be big. The DVD may take some time..

I think a hard part of it is choosing which performance to concentrate on. I have no idea which one it would be?

Russ

It aint over yet, and I have a feeling London or Manchester are gonna be good
