It'd never happen but a full band version of Big Love as an opener -

This song and Angel I still hope they perform someday before they retire. Although I would love to hear others too for the first time like Paper Doll, No Questions Asked, Thrown Down, etc... These 2 are the ones that I realisitically feel she'd at least consider

I hope they don't change anything except trade one of Stevie's songs for Sara. Maybe another song for Gypsy also. I hope they don't change any of Christine's songs. I can't wait to hear the crowd when she starts playing Songbird. |

Whilst "Seven Wonders" live was never a favourite of mine, I'm very excited to see it in a setlist. It's nice to see Stevie actually acknowlege the years between 1984 and 1997 on stage for the first time in 14 years.

While I won't believe a thing that "leaks" until opening night is finally upon us, I would be thrilled if this list turns out to be correct.

I think Seven Wonders will be great. The opening music is going to be a great grabber to many. I think it is going to do well in the set.
I LOVE Gypsy. I find it to be one of the greatest songs ever recorded. But it just does do well on stage for me. So ........ Replace Sisters with Sara Replace Everywhere with Over My Head Replace Brown Eyes with Why Replace Big Love with Bleed to Love Her Replace Blue Letter with Say Goodbye And I think you have one killer set list. And Why, Say Goodbye and Bleed are so much better with the harmonies this band is known for! |

This is a quote from an interview on the official FM website so these songs are for sure i think:
In August, the band — including bassist John McVie, Christine's ex-husband, who had been battling cancer — convened in Los Angeles to rehearse and cherry-pick its fat catalog for a career-spanning set list. Fans can expect a few rarities and surprises atop a bedrock of 10 or 11 landmarks, including Rhiannon, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Big Love, Stand Back and McVie's Say You Love Me, Little Lies and Hold Me. |

I like that they're keeping it all 1975-1987. It's more meaningful and appropriate that way. |

Tusk was way different in style and sound than Rumours. Silver Springs would not have fit. Plus they released it as the bside to the GYOW single prior to Rumours.

It should have been released as an out and out single to support the album... a bit like the early Beatles singles that never appeared on the original albums they supported.

This is great! Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are amazing. They always perform a few cover songs. I don't think anyone in their audience feel robbed of one of their own songs because of it. If it's a great performance by a great band, it doesn't matter what the **** they play -- none of the bull**** nonsense of "I'm mad because I paid good money to hear the songs I want to hear."

Why replace a fun catchy upbeat song with a real downer? Doesn't seem like a solid trade off. Plus I don't recall Say Goodbye being full of harmonies.

Say Goodbye was perfect for the last tour. Just look at the end part of this concert; I said this before, but it's going to be rocking! So many uptempo/dramatic songs in a row...the audience will be insane!! Gold Dust then So Afraid, Stand Back, Don't Stop, Go Your Own Way, World Turning, Blue Letter...it's gonna be exciting!!
