That really is a decent set list!

Sisters should go in place of Sara. Cannot replace magic of Mirage tour.

Everywhere needs to go. Use Over My Head or Why

Blue Letter needs to go and add back Say Goodbye.

I like playing this game

Stevie
If Sisters is the same as the last tour, my preferences:
1. Beautiful Child
2. Sara
3. Angel

If Silver Springs is dropped:
1. Replace with Acoustic Gypsy; replace Landslide earlier in the set, move Landslide to encore
2. Crystal
3. Fireflies

If Stand Back is dropped, add one of the above songs but not in that place in the setlist.

-----------------------------

Christine
If Everywhere or Hold Me is dropped, my preferences:
1. Oh Daddy
2. Isn't It Midnight
3. Why

-----------------------------

Lindsey
I'm fine with Blue Letter. I Know I'm Not Wrong, however, isn't the most inspired choice from Lindsey. Options:
1. What Makes You Think You're the One
2. The Ledge
3. Walk a Thin Line

If he replaces one of his other songs, like Second Hand News or Never Going Back:
1. Say You Will: Bleed to Love Her
2. Tribute to Peter Green: Black Magic Woman, Albatross, Oh Well

I'm very excited about this set, I'm bummed about the lack of Sara though.

If I were to nitpick the set I would do this:

Replace Stand Back with Gypsy.
Replace Silver Springs with Sara
Take out Tusk and do any other of Lindsey's songs from Tusk
Take out Secondhand News and replace with Monday Morning
Take out Big Love or So Afraid and replace with Crystal

Seven Wonders? Oh, I don't know about that... :/

Drop Stand Back and 7W for Affairs of the Heart and Thrown Down...

That'll shake things up...

Hold me, Seven Wonders and Little Lies I'm very excited about.

Please do Sara!

My exact feelings. Seeing that Seven Wonders and Little Lies are possible contenders (Little Lies being the most likely) made me feel a little better about the set list. Still really bummed that 'Sara' is out (although SOME people are absolutely exhilarated lol) with Christine being back, her piano contribution would have made this song really special this tour. So the decision to take it out just seems odd. Since I'm feeling especially wishful, I'll just also put it out there that I'd like to see 'Gypsy' performed acoustically someday. Why it was only performed like this once is beyond me.

Everywhere is a hit - has to stay
Seven Wonders is a hit - has to stay
Silver Springs is a hit for all intents and purposes- has to stay

My fave Stevie song is Stand Back so I literally can not believe I'm saything this but I would drop it for Gypsy which is a hit and has to stay

I also love Sisters but Sara is a hit and has to stay

I'm fine tho with a deep cut from Christine so I guess Brown Eyes is fine but I really would prefer Think About Me or Love In Store or Over My Head.

Replace Blue Letter with Monday Morning or Bleed To Love Her and I'm good.

Now the NEXT tour supporting the new album can drop as many hits as they want and put back deep cuts or Sisters and Stand Back etc then. But this tour should be celebrating the hits from this line up. This is what my family and I imagine, 95% of the audiencea expect.

You'd have to replace I'm So Afraid with another big guitar feature. Crystal would not be that.

Sara did have a keyboard/piano part in the last tour, covered by Lindsey's friend. I still hold that the single missing thing to that song is Lindsey's guitar-playing. If you listen to how they used to play it live, his arrangement used to be so much more interesting, driving the piece forward. When I hear it, I keep listening for his guitar in the short break between the intro "But you never told me 'bout the fire" and the first verse, but it never comes any more. Same for Sisters of the Moon and even Say You Love Me. Arrangements matter; you give both a more acoustic-like, softer guitar part and then they simply don't rock, at all.

Lindsey's guitar is also missed in the versions of Rhiannon we've been getting today vs. the early Rhiannon.

I cannot see Seven Wonders going well. . It's going to be a song pretty heavily carried by Sharon and Lori, I'll bet. Hope I'm wrong, but...

If they'd gone the "let's recreate Rumours" route, I'm pretty sure that "Silver Springs" might've been used for the next album...but, because they were doing the "ANTI-Rumours" album, it was left on the backburner. Plus, as with most songwriters, whatever they've just written is better than what they had leftover, so she wanted her latest songs on the next album rather than a retread (read: reject) from the previous album.

Other than not having anything from prior to '75 (only one that I'm missing is "Oh Well"...even though I hate the way Lindsey does it, I'd still rather it be IN the set rather than not) or anything new (why they can't fit ONE of the new Christine/Lindsey songs in the set is just a shame), I think it's a pretty good set list. Granted I've heard them all before (most many times)...so nothing new. Most likely will NOT be going (that is, unless I happen to win tickets from a radio station giveaway). But, I'll download a decently recorded bootleg from the tour (or buy the live album from the tour, should they record & release one later on).

Good point! I wish I had been around to see those shows in the 70s and 80s. I would have given everything to see FM perform at the peak of the band's career. When I see those videos of Sara and Rhiannon and Dreams and Sisters of the Moon, they're so emotional for me. I wish my parents would remember their experience seeing the band, but they don't.
