More cool Mac photos.

1) This first photo (found stuck to the back of another group photo) is likely the earliest surviving Polaroid of the post Buckingham / Nicks Mac line up. Like the other studio print I have (posted earlier), the group members have the same clothes on, just differently posed (a setup shot ?).

Sorry about the quality of the image, but it's B&W and taken on what was probably a crappy old J66 Polaroid on Type 47 film. It's hand dated on the back '2/12/75' a day off from the '2/11/75' on the other shot, but perhaps Herb dated one image the day it was shot and the other the day he printed it ?? It's only a day.

Both of those February images are as far as we can tell the earliest known FM shots of the group as it is today.

2) A shot of Stevie and who I believe is Ken Caillat. This looks like early 80's ?

Worthington Photos 017

3) This looks like Stevie, Herb (behind her) Stevie's Parents, Her Brother ?? (someone confirm or correct this as I haven't seen an image of her brother Christopher). Who knows what occasion brought all these folks together ? Interesting shot though.

Worthington Photos 024

4) Nice shot of Stevie and her Dad....She's wearing the same dress as the previous shot.

Worthington Photos 021

5) Stevie and 3 other women not immediately obvious to me. Anyone care to name these other ladies ?

2) that's not Ken Caillat but Benmont Tench, a founding member of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. He played on Stevie's records and toured with her in the 80's. This pic seems to have been taken during the Wild Heart tour, 1983.

4) I don't know at what event this photo was taken but I do know Stevie uses this photo in the Landslide slideshow during her solo concerts, you can see the photo at 1:46 in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzsf72lYLo0

Nicole,

I accidentally deleted your post about the last set of mercvaporphoto's shots in this thread. Your post was erroneously tagged and then I could not restore it.

Sharon Celani, Lori Nicks ('Perry' at the time, I think), Sandy Stewart and Stevie. Taken around the Wild Heart era, so probably 1983.

Well, there's a first for me! That's fine. Thanks for letting me know.

Stools-as-props are fantastic.

Definitely Chris. 1981ish, I believe.

They've been named already again but here's another picture of them together, FWIW. Wild Heart promo and looking cool.

Alright folks more photos to share before I list them on Ebay (bibliomonster) ....Several candids; some of which I could use some help with.

1) This looks like a cool and possibly candid post rehearsal shot of the group. If this appeared anywhere else, please do tell.

Worthington Photos 041

2) What seems to be a planned studio shot. However, I haven't seen it before. Not sure this iteration would have been used with a ciggy hanging from John's mouth.

Worthington Photos 040

3) A studio shot of blocks spelling out the group name and their faces....cool concept.

Worthington Photos 039

4) The group with what looks like Stevie's parents.

Worthington Photos 037

5) Mick taking a break.....That scenery is a backdrop.

Worthington Photos 036

6) Ok....one I need some help with....Who are these people with Christine ??
The Asian man looks sorta familiar, but the woman I can't place. Also NOTICE CHRISTINE HOLDING BOTH A CIGARETTE AND A JOINT....The joint the other woman took from the Asian man in a previous shot.

Worthington Photos 034

Worthington Photos 033

7) Mick with an unknown man and woman ??? Can anyone ID these folks ? Herbie printed this 16 x 20 so I'm thinking they're important if not friends.

Worthington Photos 043

8) Stevie, Christine and ????

Default Herbie Worthington Vintage Photos #5

The last post of images we have were buried in the last thread, so I posted them here.

We have more photos to share before I list them on Ebay (bibliomonster) ....Several candids; some of which I could use some help with. Since Herbie printed these, I'm assuming they were used SOMEWHERE, but if no one has see them elsewhere, that would be interesting.

I welcome any insight especially about the people smoking a doobie w/ Christine...

1) this was a photoshoot done at the recording studio while recording the 1975 album, probably in February. A different version was published last year in the Rumours re-issue: http://i.imgur.com/pehxeRR.jpg

2) this is interesting, a very similar photo and no doubt it's from the same shoot, was published (in Life magazine I think? but not sure about that) in april 1976: http://i.imgur.com/0QrbgAg.jpg it can also be found on the Getty Images website: http://www.gettyimages.nl/detail/nie...fotos/50376297 but it's attributed to a photographed named Jullian Wasser, so no idea how it became part of Herbie's estate?

3) never seen this block puzzle concept before but the photos seem to be from that first February '75 photoshoot.

4) yes with Stevie's parents in 1976, very cute photo.

6) I have no idea who those people are I don't think I've ever seen them in other photos, but I'm fairly sure the photos were taken backstage at the Day On The Green festival in Oakland, CA on april 25, 1976 because Christine is wearing the exact same outfit: http://i.imgur.com/WFmJZTA.jpg

I have no idea who the couple with Mick is or who the girl with Christine and Stevie is!

Thanks Sanne for your help.

Although I'd still like to know who some of these folks are, it does help for instance to know that Christine is likely at the April 25th show of the 76's 'Day on the Green' Festival when she's smokin that joint

Anyway, I'm back to listing on Ebay. If anyone wants to look at what's available, here's a link:

http://www.ebay.com/dsc/i.html?_saca...ington&_sop=10

If you (or anyone else here that's knowledgeable) think I'm all wet on anything factual in a description, PLEASE let me know. I have no ego about this material and want to get it right. That's why I'm here.

If I turn up any other 'mystery' folks in photos, I'll post again. Most of what we have is identified thanks to you and others help.

I may have more items to assess when I have time.

Let me know if you (or anyone else reading here) has questions about any of this material while we have it. Once it's gone, its gone.

Thanks again -

The one with Stevie's parents with the other band members is really nice.

that one of Mick with that couple appears to be same session that produced similar (same?) photo in the Rumours album photo sleeve. Richard Dashut might know

I wanna know who Christine is smokin the joint with !....That image is too cool for words....

The Asian guy looks familiar. I was thinking he might actually be an actor ??

But other than George Takei, Bruce Lee, Jack Soo, & Pat Morita, I can't think of any others in the 70's...

Sorry to comment on such an old thread but I couldn't find this anywhere else. Sanne2, do you happen to have higher quality scans of the white album cover outtakes? That's my favorite cover and I would love to get a better look at those outtakes. They don't seem to be anywhere else online. Thanks for all of your contributions!

He might be Carmine Appice.
