Barbra was very funny and entertaining with Jimmy. She looks really great for her age, and her voice is still strong. I'm not a fan by any means. I remember first knowing her as an actress, seeing her in some comedy movie I watched on TV back in the early 197os. I wish I can remember the name!

My sister had two of her albums that I listened to for a while, then completely lost interest; it just wasn't the style of music I gravitated to. I remember only her Superman album cover. I listened to that album for a while, but now can't recall any of the songs! I know she's had a prolific career, with dozens of albums. By chance, Jimmy actually held up the Superman album, I couldn't believe it!

Great! Another 2001 matchup. And the Grammy goes to Lucinda... She would have to release an album this year. Critics and Grammy darling.

I love Lucinda!!! I am very much looking forward to hearing her new record as well. I could not give a rats ass about the Grammys...or competition between musicians. For me, it's all about the quality of the music, not the accolades or awards.

Just my opinion.

That said, I was really surprised when I saw Fleetwood Mac on their previous tour. The majority of the audience was probably 35-65 in age( lot of gray heads), but there were more 20 -somethings than I expected -- a small demographic of smart "youngsters" who appreciate the older bands and music many generations behind them.
Yes I agree since Taylor wants to be a pop rock star now .She ditched country for what ever reason. And some of the others can't sing without computers and autotune.

She would be great with Tony.My mom loved Tony Bennett and she went to his concerts over the years when he came to the Oakdale theater here.

Hahaha I was one of those grayheads .LOL.I did notice there was some of the young crowd in the audience of FM and Stevie's solo shows.Good for them and welcome aboard.

My nephew which he is age 25 loves classic rock and top 40 music and loves FM and Stevie tunes as my other nephew which is 29 years old enjoys rap and other current rock tunes .My niece which is 24 likes the easy listening music in likes of Celine Dion.

That was great, wasn't it? She's 72 - and still sounds fabulous. Unreal. I was interested in this release because of the types of songs that are on it. I'm not a big fan of her Broadway-type stuff - I'm more about the movie soundtracks and pop releases of hers. (My all-time favorite being "A Star Is Born").

I haven't had a chance to listen to the whole release yet, but I will tomorrow. (Kevin wanted to know my opinion.)

I love it. The production is beautiful and she still sounds great. Hard to believe she's 72. My favorite duet is The Way We Were with Lionel Richie.

Itunes has it for 7.99 - definitely a bargain.

What's Up Doc? One of my favorite movies of ALL time. She was great on Fallon - looser than I'd expect - which was in her favor. Sounds great, still.

And does Richard really think no one has mentioned Annie's name in 15 years?!? By the looks of her album trailer - Nostalgia is going to be one hell of an album. My biggest expectation for this fall - well, of course a tie with Stevie...

I'm glad you like it I have heard the youtube video versions, which aren't complete, but I had the opposite reaction from what you had. I like or love the original versions, but the duets sounded like muzak to me. But I'm glad it works for her and that she can maybe have some fun, have some new professional connections, and stay relevant to the music world. I like her as a person a lot. And I LOVE WHAT'S UP DOC

I heard her duet with Stevie Wonder on the radio and thought it was awful. Not for me thanks.

NPR is streaming her new album on First Listen and it's excellent and I can't stop listening to it. Ordered the vinyl version which is released the same day as Stevie's
"24 Karat Gold". Although Stevie will get my first listen, the new Lu is one of the best records (and double at that) that I've heard in a long while.

No, I don't think it, I know it. Sorry it may seem shocking, but no one I know is a fan of hers...so yeah haven't heard a thing about her for a looong time and not to mention I'm not a fan of her solo work. Sorry Annie...no more I love you's from me.

Is sounds like she is singing while she is chewing her food. Hard to understand her.
