Maybe she says this because she just doesn't want to perform it anymore. It was a big hit, yet it became a one-tour song.
Right, I think she finds it difficult for some reason, maybe the drum sequencing trips her up or something. She probably got lost in it one night, and felt like it was far worse than it actually was. It looks like the last time she played it was actually in 1989 - she closed her set in Toronto with it.

The last time she played it on the Rock A Little tour was 10/6/86, in Sydney, Australia.

I thought I heard her talk about this somewhere other than the commentary, and though it's a fuzzy memory, I thought she was talking about a time long after the RAL tour. In other words, she did it on that tour because it was one of the album's hit singles, but years later she tried to do it again and it was too hard, so it never made it into another set.

Nope, that set is completely wrong. On 8/17/89 she played:

Outside the Rain
Dreams
Rooms on Fire
Gold Dust Woman
Alice
No Spoken Word
How Still My Love
Beauty and the Beast
Juliet
Talk to Me
Whole Lotta Trouble
Two Kinds of Love
Edge of Seventeen
Stand Back

I think if she had done it again, her Street Angel Tour voice would have been perfect. If only she had included it in that set...

You should grab your source and go change it on setlistfm, because the people on there have reverted it due to a lack of sourcing for your list, and it's better to have the right one. Posted.

Wow, that set is all over the place. "Long Way To Go", "The Nightmare" and "Fire Burning" have never been performed live. "Outside The Rain" is ALWAYS followed by "Dreams" - the 2 run into eachother. "Edge of Seventeen" has never been an encore song. It's always the main set closer.

I love that set! I wish she'd kept it like that for the whole tour instead of dropping "Talk To Me" and "Juliet".

Here is the set from later in the tour:

Outside The Rain
Dreams
Rooms On Fire
Gold Dust Woman
Stand Back
Alice
No Spoken Word
How Still My Love
Beauty and The Beast
Whole Lotta Trouble
Two Kinds of Love
Edge of Seventeen
Rhiannon

I wish I would have had any way of getting to see her on this tour, but I was 12, and my "rock-is-satan"-believing folks were not about to pay for that. The settlists from RAL and TOSOTM read like a list of things I missed out on.

I wasn't even born and only ever got to see Stevie solo when she played a 1 hour set at Hard Rock Calling fesitval in Hyde Park in 2011. Stevie hasn't toured the UK/Europe solo since 1989. Fortunately, I got to meet her, so that made up for the lack of touring, but DAMN IT woman, play the UK once in a while

I saw her on the Enchanted tour, and the Stevie Nicks & Friends thing she did with Sheryl Crow, Don Henley, Mick Fleetwood, & Chris Isaak. And I saw FM on the Unleashed tour. I'm hoping to catch both again within the next 2-3 years, finances permitting.

I wonder if Stevie will ever tour the UK solo again. I bet she could sell out decent sized venues seeing as she hasn't done any proper tour here since 1989. I think people would jump at the chance to see her solo.

It would be cool to hear about her doing a world tour again. I remember in an interview before IYD came out, that she said it had a lot to do with album sales, whether promoters came out to set up shows. That will be difficult any way you cut it with the FM tours coming up, though.

I wonder where that set list came from. The Nightmare? Fire Burning? Long Way to Go? Unlikely that these magically appeared in the set.

I consider myself lucky to have seen her on this tour before she dropped Talk to Me and Juliet. Juliet was very memorable; the end "the sky is crying" part was extended a bit with a percussion solo, with the band members all gathered up front, sort of like a drum circle. I thought it was a very cool, lively thing to do It was a highlight of the show, so I couldn't believe they had dropped it.

Yeah, that's part of why I included the one from the RAL tour too. But apparently someone is adamant enough about the setlist that they've reverted changes made to it. Why anyone would add those to some random show in Canada from the 80s is particularly weird to me.

This is wrong too. She never did Rhiannon on the OSOTM tour, only sang the first line. Also, Stand Back was moved in between BATB and WLT.
