YAY for All The Beautiful Worlds, If You Were My Love and Watch Chain. ATBW and Watch Chain are just instantly classic Stevie songs. While IYWML... I hope they've gone for the epic Mirage demo feel rather than the complete and utter turd that is the SA demo.
Before the tracklist turned up, I thought that *maybe* the "song that had been played live" could have been Sweet Girl, since there was only a studio demo and a live release.

Twisted is a better song that Sweet Girl, imo. I'm really surprised it's on this record, but I can kinda see how it might fit musically, if she worked out the version from the Enchanted Tour. Despite this being a "demos" album, I guess she went for a musical theme too, and Twisted could sorta fit that theme. At least that's what I'm hoping, because it means this album could be as good as BD.

I'm very, very happy about "She Loves Him Still" and "If You Were My Love." I'm hoping "Lady" is "China Doll," though it's unlikely.

I wonder if the bonus tracks on the Warner pre-order are the same ones as iTunes and Amazon.

I don't think she'd even try China Doll at this point. It's so high. It would be great if the original demo came out on some retrospective. It's so beautiful just like it is.

I'd never heard Cathouse Blues before, but I've listened to it now, and I think it's great! I love Stevie's early voice, just natural power, not drug infused vibrato.

I'm quite pleased with "The Dealer" and also the album track-listing, which is actually better than I had a right to expect. I also like the album cover, but I have just one (minor) gripe - that hat??? It's so dodgy and as someone else commented, it just reeks of Dolly Parton circa late 1980's. If only it had been airbrushed out.

I finally nabbed a copy of Knockin' On Doors. If that does turn out to be Lady, I don't think I'll have any complaints at all. What a great song.

Other than missing Stan Lynch's drums from the Bella Donna version I think this is a fine version of a great old song. Stan played the daylights out of this song much like Roy Bittan on Julia.

I love both of those songs too, but, here is how I look at it. They are both pretty "done" demos, with very good production. So you actually do have them, and a lot of people (most casual fans) don't, which makes them even more special.
