There's no doubt that World Turning would be an amazing way to reintroduce Christine to Fleetwood Mac touring. It should be performed in a similar fashion to the performance on The Midnight Special. Again, I bury The Chain and Landslide to make the list far more interesting. Without You is performed with Christine and the whole band to the front of the stage. The alternate version of You Make Lovin' Fun would be awesome - Christine and Stevie in a call-and-response affair.

I like the idea of putting Landslide and The Chain in the encore, that would freshen things up a little. I'm not sure about World Turning as the opener though.

I'd really like to hear Isn't It Midnight in there somewhere. It's one of those high energy songs that could add energy towards the beginning of a concert (or near the end when they usually do a string of higher energy songs). It worked well in '87-'90 and hasn't been played live with Lindsey yet.

Instead of the "Tusk" segment, there is now a Tango In The Night focus (though many tusk songs do make an appearance still). Longer setlist than normal, but if you take a look at other "classic rock" bands that are touring, many of them are doing close to three hour shows - certainly enough time to fit in a 28 song setlist.

I agree - I think Monday Morning into The Chain was a great one, two punch.

But I also think Seven Wonders would make a great opener. However, I believe Say You Love Me or the Rumours tour version of Over My Head would make for great re-introductions of Christine

Seven Wonders would be an amazing opener... but I doubt we're likely to get it at all. Unless I've missed something here.

Considering how popular it's been lately, I'd be especially surprised if they didn't sing Everywhere. I'd love to see Little Lies done live too.

I still don't know why people aren't including Brown Eyes + Oh Daddy, they're very likely based on tweets and band comments. My big question mark is whether they will include new songs or not. My last setlist was this (if Paul McCartney and Beyonce/Jay Z can do 40+ songs, FM can do at least 25):

They're not really "closing" with Eyes of the World per se, but it definitely is a fun tune. Christine doing the "ooh ooh ooh"s and the song ending like it does on Mirage - an emphatic point.

Also, World Turning *totally* works. Think about it: the crowd is going to go bonkers when Christine sings her first note, so why not do it at the beginning? "World turning...I've got my back on the ground..." (crowd freaks)

I didn't say anything about World Turning. I could totally see it as an opener...only it couldn't be as long as the encore version. It's fast, it gets people going, "I've got to get my feet back on the ground." That's fitting. I'd be much more for this than Monday Morning and Say You Love Me, both of which don't get close to the same adrenaline in the house. We know Say You Love Me will be like The Dance version (with or without the banjo); very adult contemporary-ish and will probably not rock (that isn't necessarily a bad thing).

I like this. 28 songs shouldn't be too hard to ask for, right? Paul McCartney does 40+ and he's a solo act. It's not too far from my ideas (reposted in the above post). I just wouldn't have Blue Letter last, that's for sure. Maybe Landslide could go after Songbird? (Gasp! I could see it as a final song) And since Everywhere was done for The Dance, I'd love Isn't It Midnight instead. I put a few more obscure Tusk songs in (Angel and WMYTYTO and personal fav Beautiful Child), but Lindsey only whips out one of the same two deep cuts on an album in which he contributed like 10 songs, so you were probably closer with IKINW.

It really would. It's got that mystical beginning that they could prolong to build excitement. It's uptempo, pretty well known with renewed interest, and has great harmonies. I would love it.

I'm concerned, though, that Christine isn't too bothered about that album any longer. I don't know. I think that there seems to be emphasis on 'digging out' songs from Tusk or the White Album and yet not from TITN. I wondered whether that might be because she associates the mid/late 80s songs with what eventually was a difficult second marriage. Perhaps not. It would be a shame if that were the case, though, as neither Stevie nor Lindsey seems keen on delving into that album.

I think we'll have to just wait and see.
I certainly don't think Christine is against playing TITN songs. I think she's very proud of the success of her TITN songs and would jump at the chance to play Little Lies, Everywhere and Isn't It Midnight. The problem is trying to fit everything in with all the other 'hits' of hers. She hasn't specifically said anything about 'digging out' songs from Tusk or the White album to my knowledge. All in all I think she probably has very happy thoughts concerning TITN. Her marriage may have turned bad but that particular time was probably a very, very happy one for her.

Personally I'd love to see a full band rendition of Big Love. I'd love to see Tango- the song in place of ISA. I'd like to see Isn't It Midnight as I think Lindsey would make a monster of it live. I'd love to see Little Lies as it hasn't been played live by this line-up. I'd love to see Everywhere- I'd be intrigued to know what Lindsey could make of it as an acoustic version (So far I've never particularly liked Everywhere live as its neither here nor there- but an acoustic version could transform it).

I don't think there would be a mini set but I'd love to see TITN better represented and peppered throughout the set.
