I SWEAR where John plays the rundown from the D, that the C he plays is a mistake. It should be a C#(IMHO), and they just left it on the recording, or didn't notice, or....?

I've just listened to this a few times I don't know what you mean by the run down from D If I'm listening to the right part ,then the harmony is mainly E min leading to C (or C maj 7 )so why would there be a run down which starts on D and secondly ,as the key is E min you wouldn't expect to find a C# at all , surely ?
