Me too. It's the album track Lindsey needs to pull out this tour.

Lindsey is only concerned with pulling out old Tusk tunes and, probably, convincing Christine to do the same.

That thrills me to no end as well. However, it was a nice surprise when he resurrected Eyes Of The World for the 21st century tours.

Is he? Why would this be a concern? I don't get any vibes that they are looking to really boost the Tusk album's reputation in the eyes of critics and music writers and industry peeps. Isn't always Rumours Rumours Rumours Rumours? He really hasn't mined his countless songs on that album, outside of I Know I'm Not Wrong and Not That Funny. None of them ever appear, not in Fleetwood Mac concerts, not in his solo concerts. Stevie has played more of her Tusk songs live than Lindsey(!!). None of his songs on the album were big hits outside of eponymous title track...so there's no reason why NTF or IKINW shouldn't be dropped for the others; no one would be enraged by any means.

But it's easier to do EOTW than a non-Tusk song that has never been done before. Even when they did DLMDA, they'd done it before, years ago.

No, I don't get any vibes that the rest of the band is looking to boost the album's reputation at all and I don't think Lindsey feels its reputation needs any boosting. He already knows it has critical acclaim. Still, I expect him to do a Tusk song that hasn't been played in awhile and for him to be pretty happy if Christine does one as well.

He will also probably throw in that the whole band has told him that's their favorite album -- and I will highly doubt that more than 2 of the other 4 members have actually told him that.

I never understood why this song and WISYA were never performed live. Yeah, I know in the second case it will lose forever with Landslide, but TITN is a song that, I guess, would have more power live, even when the studio version is simply awesome. I suppose Lindsey needs backing vocals to perform it live.
Regards!

I could see him doing it like he does Big Love. I think it would work.

I would love a full-band "Big Love," and the addition of "Tango" in place of "I'm So Afraid." Would be a nice little kick for the setlist, while still having the same appeal.

I'm So Afraid that would never happen. But God, that would be awesome!

More of Andre Allen Anjos on TITN

Spin Magazine by Vivian Host, August 6, 2014

http://www.spin.com/articles/RAC-int...-lollapalooza/

What has been a recurrent theme for you this summer?

I tend to wear all black all the time, so I'm not a very summery person. I've been listening to Tango in the Night by Fleetwood Mac a lot. Like way too much. That's kind of become my summer album, but not really intentionally. This kind of goes back to the nerd side: that album is very digital. It's just this weird, awkward period of music where it was all those bands that sound amazing from the '70s, and they were kind of moving into the '80s, but they didn't really know how synths and stuff worked yet. There's some really classic songs on that record.

This auction says it has original TITN photos. If I actually thought they'd have new photos we haven't seen before, I'd be really enticed.

I feel exactly the same on both of your points. Big Love was a surprising, tour de force when he first began performing it as an angst solo acoustic number. But the novelty has considerably worn off. Recasting it in its original studio form in full band performance would give it a fresh face. Big Love should be treated better.

Tango in the Night is the spawn of I'm So Afraid, so it certainly has the same appeal, and could easily take it's place. Though the song wasn't a single, neither was I'm So Afraid. The Tango in the Night album is very popular, so most people would be familiar with the song.
