Dolly has written over 3000 songs. There have been a few albums (out of 42) that have mainly been covers, and she might throw a cover or two on the others, but there has to be somewhere for those 3000 songs to go.

Please listen to The Grass is Blue, Halos and Horns, Backwoods Barbie, and Just Because I'm a Woman for starters, and rethink that one
It's a matter of quality over quantity.

Thanks StreetAngel. I hadn't seen the list until now and must concede, it does seem a little dubious. "Priest Of Nothing" seems an unlikely choice for the reasons already mentioned and I maintain that "I Call You Missing" was simply an early version of "Love Is Like A River" so I very much doubt it would be revisited.
I also wonder about slightly revised titles such as "Starshine Silver" and "My Sanctuary, My Stronghold" when the original master reels most definitely refer to the titles we have known them by for many years. Of course, Stevie could have altered the titles, but it just seems a little bogus to me, reeking of an overly enthusiastic fan's fantasy track-listing.
On the other hand, I have been dreading the inclusion of "Space Needle" so that part almost rings kind of true.
I noticed no "Gypsy Beggar", but also concede that there was never any substance to the claims it was a contender.
If this track-listing does turn out to be correct, I will be mightily disappointed over the absence of "Julia", "China Doll" and "She Loves Him Still". I suspect "The Dealer" may have been reserved for Fleetwood Mac and of course, this could also be the case for "If You Were My Love" and the others I have mentioned.
Does anyone know how to check what titles may have been recently copyrighted or had their copyright renewed?

I'm also wondering if "Turnstile 69" is supposed to be the most recent snippet Dave gave us?

Here is how wiki works:

Some random person writes something, says it's official, wiki removes it because it's not true

On the topic of what songs we want, I really want "At The Fair", "Julia", "IYWML", and The Dealer

All great choices Chris. I've really warmed to the demo of "At The Fair" over the last few years and would be curious to hear Stevie's approach on this track in the here and now.
There's a good dozen or so songs I'm really counting on making the final cut, but if I could only have one, it would be "She Loves Him Still". If this doesn't eventuate, a clear master of the 1984 recording would be most welcome. It's just so beautiful.

I forgot about that one! Such a pretty song. This is not correct, this tracklisting nobody confirmed anything

I've been listening to At the Fair a lot over the last few months, it's a great track that would sound killer with updated production. I really hope Julia is on her upcoming album or at least Fleetwood Mac's, it's a shame it's been overlooked since the early 1980s, it's beautiful. Fingers crossed for a studio version of Gold and Braid.

I could really do without the rhiannon songs. I'll stick with the ones from 1978

I want:

The Dealer
If You Were My Love
Jimmy, Come On Back
Ooh Baby
The Charmed Ones
All The Beautiful Worlds
Julia
Chanel Chanel
Tied Up (In Promises)

Only 2 are speculated to be on there.

I'm ok with Blue Water and I Call You Missing but I could do without Starshine, Space Needle, Something Exquisite, and the Rhiannon songs and Priest Of Nothing.

The inclusion of Priest of Nothing, Something Exquisite, and I Call You Missing are what make me question this. I could do without all of those and Space Needle. Julia, China Doll, and If You Were My Love are the only ones I'd be disappointed were not there, if this track list turns out to be accurate.

I'd love to hear the Rhiannon songs fully fleshed out.

I think I am the only one who wants Something Exquisite to be on the album.

No, no -- it's on my wishlist, too. I love that song.

If it winds up being on there, I'm sure it'll be fine. It just doesn't strike me as one that Stevie would really want to showcase.
