Yeah and though I agree with a lot of these connections, some I hadn't even thought of before, I think these are a stretch:

Hot Summer Day - Danny Kirwan
Hot Summer Nights - Walter Egan/Stevie/Lindsey

Only You - Danny Kirwan
Only Over You - Fleetwood Mac

It is funny though how Danny is sort of Stevie & Lindsey rolled into one, musically similar to LB yet lyrically not far removed from SN.
