She's talked about it for 35+ years. Why would she release those particular tracks on this album- why not save them for a soundtrack?

Yes, I'm leaning towards the fact that is accurate too. Why risk looking foolish (those edits on Wikipedia can be tracked to username and by IP address).

As for Priest of Nothing, that was the name on the demo reels so that seems legit.

That doesn't mean anything, IMO. For instance, Stevie introduced Storms as "I Have Always Been A Storm" to Fleetwood Mac audiences in 2009. She takes lots of creative liberties with dates, too. She could easily expand on a song title, much like she did with Storms.

Unfortunately, we do have fans who make things up for the attention it generates.

I'm hoping the track list turns out to be accurate. It's hard to believe that most of these won't be on the final release.

Are you certain? According to MikeBise, a member here who first shared the song, the tape was unlabled and after several listens he decided to coin it "Priest of Nothing".

"Priest of Nothing" is the title that I came up with. Of course, I'm probably wrong and I will cringe years later when Stevie finally releases this incredible song, and I see how wrong my title is and how obvious the real title is.

If that track-listing is legitimate, I'll definitely be disappointed by the lack of "Julia," "If You Were My Love," "Belle Fleur" and "She Still Loves Him." In fact, only four from my wishlist of ten songs, are included on this list.

I do have to say, though, that many of the songs on this track-listing are ones that would probably never see the light of day otherwise -- while the songs I mentioned above still certainly have a fighting chance for inclusion on the upcoming Mac album or future solo releases. So I guess I shouldn't be too disappointed if my favorites didn't make it this time around.

There is a Facebook group called Ivory Keys (run by Mike Bise) and there is a girl on there named Marcy who apparently confirmed all this...I'll quote two of her posts below

Marcy Austin-John wants me to tell you Reprise Records did in fact confirm the track listing yesterday for Stevie Nicks's new record. Just an FYI

Marcy Austin Quoting my assistant, "You can't get an official release of that until they make that publicly available. But for the one song, it will be Priest of Nothing or something like that. Maybe slight variance on it like how Sweet Street Angel was finalized Street Angel not sure. Status should be public now."

While this is a list of mostly good choices, some I'm not pleased about. However, I have to add my name to the list of skeptics here.

Mike Bise has said many times that he created the name "Priest of Nothing" for that song because he didn't know what the name really was and thought that his name fit it. I'm sure what he has said about naming it is still around here somewhere in the thread where he shared both takes of the song with everyone. If Stevie were to include this song on one of her records it would be a bit odd seeing as how Joe Walsh has already released this song himself (minus her lyrics, of course). There would be legal issues to work out and there would always be the chance that Joe Walsh would flatly refuse Stevie the right to use it. As fast as this project has come together, I can't see this song being an option.

And, how many years did the fans circulate "No Light" and "The Tower" only to find out both had completely different names? It wouldn't surprise me in the least to learn the song Mike chose to name "Priest of Nothing" has a name that is amazingly different.

I was under the impression these songs were chosen from demos and outtakes the fans have had for a while and "Turnstile 69" is either something we've never heard, which wouldn't fit the "fan favorites" theme or an outlandish title for something we have had for years and know well under another name. If it's the latter, there's not a single demo or outtake I can think of that that title would fit in the least.

With titles like "Julia" and "The Dealer", as popular as they are with fans curiously absent from this "leak" and odd titles like "Priest of Nothing", "Turnstile 69" "First, Second and Third Rhiannon" and "My Sanctuary, My Stronghold" included, I can't really believe this is a legitimate list.

If Dave had posted this list on his Facebook page or tweeted them, I'd be fine with it (although I'd still have to wonder why in the world "Priest of Nothing" got a nod). But since it appeared on Wikipedia which allows anyone to come along and add content doesn't convince me in the least. The fact it is no longer there speaks even more to me. Dave or anyone close to Stevie could have had that false leak pulled. A valid track listing can do a lot to help build interest for a record and Dave knows that. False information will only lead to someone being disappointed when a song they were excited about from that misinformation didn't make the cut. Dave knows that as well.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong here but IYD was the only Stevie record fans didn't end up finding a wealth of unreleased material from. He's been secretive with 24KG now like he was with IYD. As close as Dave holds his work I think the official track listing will come from him or from the label. So I'm afraid I will not be getting worked up over anything until I see official word from Stevie or Dave.

someone wrote that a friend who does some work for warners told him that Julia and Forest of the Black Roses are in Stevie's new album, but I didn't say anything because it could be someone just making things up.

In terms of fan favorites, I can't believe Julia, If You Were My Love, and The Dealer would be omitted. I am not a fan of this tracklisting unfortunately
