Underneath CD, it says Stevie Nicks LP ref 7-7-14 964*

That seems to confirm the LP (vinyl) rumour as well. Happy days!

I'm not sure of the length of time it was in between the recording of the album and the release date, though. It's been speculated that a lot of overdubs and re-recording took place afterward, so who knows?

Wikipedia says, "Recording began in late 1982, shortly after the end of Fleetwood Mac's Mirage Tour. After the death of her best friend, Robin Anderson, and with new appreciation for her life and career, the recording took only a few months and the album was released in June 1983, preceded by the single "Stand Back", to much critical acclaim."

If late 1982 means Nov or Dec, then that puts it at about 6/7 months for the length of that project from start to release date as well ~ same as this project.
Thanks for the info! I need to listen to the Jim Ladd WH interview. It's an interesting time in terms of her recordings. I love the tracks she recorded with Gordon Perry in Dallas - particularly Destiny.

Nice..I was kind of hoping for a running time as well..could give us an indication of the number of songs.

Stevie confirmed 17 or 18. But that was before the record was finalized. Fingers crossed that everything she recorded sees the light of day!

Dave Stewart has been informed that it would be cool if Stevie did something like this when her new album comes out...

The Heartbreakers are sounding good I wonder if any of them will be on "24 Karat Gold"???

If you play with the "Radio" it plays different stations/songs...

LP stands for Long Player. That doesn't necessarily means vinyl. But perhaps you have special skills beyond my reach! Though it seems likely that her album will have a vinyl release.

LOVE the track list! This is exciting news! I would have loved to see "Julia" (one of her best unreleased songs) to appear on the record, but all the other songs are great! Wrap it up, we'll take it!

It's possible- we got big leaks like this when Trouble In Shangri La was in the pipeline. Even Christine's In The Meantime had it's track listing leaked. I remember how skeptical we all were about that one- so many of the songs just sounded far too mean to be written by Chris- Sweet Revenge, Liar, etc. Yet the leaked track listings for both albums turned out to be right.

If this were the track listing, I'd be pretty thrilled. No Joan of Arc, If You Were My Love, or Mirror Mirror... 3 of my favs. But I like the idea of the 3 Rhiannon songs being together. Cecelia, Forest Of The Black Roses, and Space Needle are all big surprises, too. Let's hope this turns out to be true!
