On this latest mystery clip, I hear:

I would follow you anywhere
What would my life be without you in it
Jealous, broken, stars done shining (??)
I don't care

I have no clue what song it is based on this little snippet….
I think the only reason for the jangly sound is because of how these clips are being recorded - seemingly via Dave's cell phone. So the audio isn't getting all the depth that's likely in the actual recording.
I love this stuff so far.

The music sounds a little like the demo One More Tomorrow, but the lyrics are totally different....

Huh? I don't hear that at all. That is quite a leap.

Agreed...it was a leap.... I know I have heard that music somewhere though....I just can't put my finger on it.

How can you tell from that? It's a bad recording.

I wish they would give us a snippet of a ballad or slower song.

I am one of those people who (like many people on this board probably can) can usually "name that stevie song in four notes or less" which is why this snippet is killing me. I would have to go with "unreleased never before heard" because I have sifted through every demo I have and I can not find anything remotely close (with the exception of NMT, which as we both agree, is a stretch)

sonically it really reminds me of the whole IYD album-- it's got Dave's fingerprints all over it.

Maybe not all the songs are old demos. We would have recognized that one. I can't place it. She might have some newer material mixed in. I'm very excited about how fast this has come together.

The crapy sounding crumbs Dave's tossing out suck. It's like he thinks people are on their hands and knees. I wish he would send some decent previews if anything. Like we got for albums TISL, etc

Would be great..let's just hope she isn't saving it for the "Rhiannon project" that we all know will never see the light of day.

I don't hear anything like You Like Me. But wouldn't that be cool if she recorded that song at some point! It's such a rocking song, and the lyrics are quintessential Stevie!

Don't read your words into my words
Remember the words "Don't do it!"
Wrote me a letter of hate or of love
And I can do without it

You stand there and accuse me
And you want to know who is it
Well, you ought to know who is it

You like me, don't you?
But you can't hide the feeling
Your eyes I see through
You like me, don't you?

This record has caused me to really listen to the demos. I'm finding I have new favorites. I like Night Gallery and Baby Doll a lot! I hope these make the album.
