I'm glad that the musicians get a chance to gel and compose without having to worry about if Stevie is satisfied and/or occupied.
Maybe they've come up with some brilliant collaborations being able to concentrate fully on their own material, and not having to worry about Stevie (who doesn't play an instrument).

I feel at this point she is free to do whatever she wants. She's earned it.

I do feel Lindsey has thrown a few zingers in his quotes about her. There was this one about caring for her from a distance. And the other was about her needs being complicated. Also thought it was telling that Christine said the chemistry is better than ever, and saying this while Stevie isn't there.
That's not Stevie's fault. Not my fault either. Just reading it and commenting.

what struck me was them saying tour rehearsals now aren't starting until August. I seem to recall it was mentioned as being earlier previously…maybe only July,

but still, clearly pushed back a bit.

I remember July, too.. Well I guess if there is no new material... then they need less time...

I wouldn't mind if they did one of Stevie's old FM demos since her album comes out in Oct.

Yeah maybe.. I thought you were referring to me.

I think the table is set for stevie to come do her 25% and get the album out.

The thing that bothers me is I have to wait until May 2015 for the Gone Too Far tour...

Unlike us, Christine may not have had to hear that she'd burned her bridges for the last 15 years, but even in the short time she's been back, she's still heard it plenty.

I just took that to mean that he cares for her but she keeps him (emotionally) at arm's length in their interactions offstage. She's not going to ever go back to just handing her songs over to him and letting him run with them or work with him as the final authority (i.e. producer) on her stuff.

I know! Only now, LB explains this act in pseudo-mythic terms, as some ritual for her to realize her creative force. He's hilarious.

On the upside, this is the first time I've seen an actual projected date for the album's release. And while I am not at all thrilled about having to wait a year-and-three months for the next album, I am happy that the article focused specifically on the importance of that new music.

Unhappy that it appears the upcoming tour will not feature new songs, which are being "saved" for next year's international tour. Ugh!

Money grab. Money grab. Money grab.

I'll still see them I'm October.
