How Dave handles horns. Probably like this.

I just remember hearing Pack Up the Plantation, Tom Petty's first live recording. He had just make Southern Accents, which had some horns on it (which I didn't mind, since they fit with the songs), but on that tour he had a horn section and he added them to some of his great rock songs, and that totally ruined those live versions for me. Anyway, I don't want to belabor my point. I'm happy that Stevie is doing this and as long as there aren't horns on a majority of the songs, it will be fine

One of the benefits of working in Nashville is that if you want something all you have to do is ask and minutes later it (horns) shows up...It could be the Dave said "I wonder how it would sound with horns" so they were called in...Just because they had some horns in the studio it doesn't mean they (horns) will be prominently featured...The tweeter (Vinnie Ciesielski ) said they helped in a small way so by the time the final mix on the record is done the horns might be barely noticeable or they might not make the final cut at all...

Once again it's funny how a stray tweet has put everyone in a panic...

Horns are ALWAYS a good thing.

...coming from the person who believed the April Fool's joke that Jimmy Iovene was leaving Beats Music to reunite Tom Petty & Stevie Nicks for a new album. Stones in glass houses.

I don't think the tweet put anyone in a "panic". People are just giving us their opinion/preference on horns.

A tweet about the album from Kenny G might put people in a panic.

I have a feeling this is going to be a good album. Stevie gets good karma for doing this.

I haven't posted in forever, but I just want to say that if Mirror Mirror, Something Exquisite, All the Beautiful Worlds, or most importantly my favorite She Still Loves Him makes it onto this I will be so so so happy.

I am nervous though because I really can't stand Dave Stewart and I imagine something dreadful like Night Gallery will appear.

Night Gallery wasn't that bad..I love the episode where Joan Crawford plays a blind ,manipulative, imperious ,predatory dowager.
