actually I've thought with the trend of people doing Broadway musicals that the Rhiannon songs would lend themselves nicely to that…Not a big rah rah musical like say Mama Mia which is goofy and fun but a show that tells the whole Rhiannon/Mabinogion story. Forest of the Black Roses and Three Birds would be fabulous, based on the demos.

However I am a huge fan of Stevie's earlier vocals when her range was much better and her voice so fluid it went wherever she wanted to take it. She's much, much more limited now in range and in flexibility and often times tries to make up for that by getting louder… And I'm not entirely sure Dave has the right touch for that kind of material.

And I hope she does NOT do What Has R&R Ever Done for You… blech. And that sleazy wolf whistle.. blech again.

I'm thinking (hoping) she'll do:

1. If You Were My Love (I can see Dave being into this one)
2. Julia
3. 24 Karat Gold
4. Blue Water (The lyrics are classic Stevie and I can see Dave making this sparkly and beautiful )
5. All The Beautiful Worlds
6. The Dealer aka Mistress Of My Fate
7. Sanctuary
8. Have No Heart
9. Forsaken Love
10. Watch Devil
11. Castaway
12. Gypsy Beggar
13. Prettiest Girl in the World
14. Space Needle
15. China Doll
16. At The Fair
17. Joan Of Arc

But if they're going to go based off YouTube popularity views then...

Blue Water - 151,304
Love You Enough - 75,771
All These Years - 72,581
Baby Doll - 56,215
Mirror Mirror - 36,383
She Loves Him Still - 36,343
Have No Heart - 32,609
Maker Of The Birds - 31,662
Space Needle- 28,339

24 Karat Gold - 22,269
Watch Devil - 22,247
Dealer - 21,421
Castaway - 17,333
Gypsy Beggar- 15,237
If You Were My Love - 12,387

Priest of nothing - 2824
It's Not A Dream - 2034
Starshine - 1904

Goldfish & The Ladybug - 1620
Christian - 1397
Charmed Ones- 1379
Sanctuary - 1194
Chanel Chanel - 1140

I know people are bummed that she's not releasing "new" material but this is the album a lot of die hard Stevie fans have been waiting for. Hearing her current vocals with an official production on any one of these songs is really exciting

I had been a Stevie fan for decades but only heard this song for the first time back in January of 2011, a mere 2 hours AFTER my ex and I decided to call it quits. Needless to say, it immediately became one of my favorites...and yeah, I think this is one she should revisit as well. I think it could benefit from the way her voice is these days.

Sort of nuts that these three are so far down at the bottom the that list.

Same for Julia, although I believe there are multiple takes available on YouTube:

I know, right? "Sanctuary" especially ~ that song (or at least the "take" that was widely circulated before we got all these master reels back in 2001) has so much passion in her vocal delivery.

"Must I be the oneeeeee...alwayssssss...to be condemned for you..."

Gives me chicken skins just thinking about it. Hahaha!

City of Hope, China Doll, One More Tomorrow, and Love and War are really the only 4 demos that I'm in love with. I never cared too much for her demos, none of them really grab me. I'm hoping the finished studio versions will.

I may have heard this song before but I sure don't remember it. This seems to be like a song she would want to record. I hope so. This song really captures my feelings over a relationship that didn't work out a few years ago but the love, on my end, is still very much there. So I liked the "my love will never grow old" line in particular.

One thing I would like to see them do is keep some of the original vocals because I would love to hear what a song sounds like with "young Stevie" singing backing vocals/harmonizing with 2014 Stevie...

That would be Amazing. And a unique idea That has not really been done before because few artist have had such a long career as she has. I would personally love the dealer, she calls you missing and the City of Hope (charmed ones) other than that I have never really listened to the demos either. But MOONLIGHT Is one of my favorite songs ever so if it turns out anything like that I will be happy

I could see Stevie's present voice being somewhat OK for songs like Love & War, Have No Heart, Joan of Arc, At the Fair, Prettiest Girl in the World and maybe Night Gallery. I still can't understand why she didn't choose Have No Heart instead of some of the other garbage that ended up on In Your Dreams. Especially since Annabel Lee (and My Heart, sort of) made the cut. I would have been perfectly happy for Fall From Grace (never have liked it) to have never seen the light of day in 2001 and Have No Heart make it to TISL instead.

As for Space Needle, it's another song I've never liked so if it does show up on the new record, it will most definitely be a skipper for me.

I don't particularly care much for the sound of Stevie's voice the past few years so I really don't have much hope that soft songs like Blue Water, Mistaken Love, Forest of the Black Roses and Julia will come out sounding good to my ears.

I'm surprised by all the love for "Have No Heart." It's melodramatic dirge about a spoiled 14 year old princess who has a little person die of love for her... And he presumably adores her solely because of her looks, since she "has no heart" and did nothing but heap abuse on him. Ugh.
