Right, she's rushing the recording of this album. She's not going to sit on it. She could record it in 2 weeks after the Fleetwood Mac tour if she wanted to. She's choosing to do it now.

I doubt a solo album, too but how could Mick get it that wrong?? Surely he knows what the hell Stevie is doing. She is part of the band and especially now, with the upcoming tour/possible recording happening.

I keep looking at the recent pic of Stevie with the bunny ears. She's got this "wouldn't you guys love to know what I'm up to" smirk on her face. I love it.

I wonder if they are already trying to generate "media buzz" for the record???

As far as recording new stuff for FM, that could be worked out in between, as it's likely to be just another EP anyway.

It could actually come out sooner, because right now FM doesn't have any dates for early next year. We can conclude they will do Glastonbury, but other than that, until we see more dates pour out, things are open for FM for the first 6 months of 2015.

Or maybe shes collaborating with Dave for HIS work. Whether they are working on her solo stuff, his stuff or demos, its all speculation at this point. All we know is they're doing something.
I know about the old Los Angeles wrecking crew and I guess Nashville has its own equivalent. But these are the type of studio musicians that get paid for their proficiency and they don't usually do it for demos. I mean, for that level of quick talent, you're paying a nifty sum and I don't think it would be for demos.

I just don't like Dave Stewart. I don't think he did a very good job on IYD and quite frankly the guy seems to insert himself into Stevie's light too much. Just don't like it. Egomaniac and a press whore. JMO

HAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHA. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHA.

Ok.. but seriously... Sheryl Crow did the SAME thing, if not WORSE. I mean... she performed with her at the Blockbuster Awards, she sang BACKUP on almost every song on TISL, She halfassed produced half of TISL, she toured with Stevie, she inserted herself into TWO Stevie videos, She told everyone she was Joining Fleetwood Mac before it was official, she bownnoses Stevie every chance she gets.

I mean. really. I think Dave did a great job with IYD. It was consistently GOOD for 95% of the album, sans Cheaper Than Free.

Default Stevie Nicks, new Studio Album and Tour in 2015?

Stevie's recording in Nashville is starting to get some media attention...

Has Stevie Nicks been working on a new album?
While representatives are keeping tight-lipped, reports have been circulating on the Internet. There have been strong rumors that the singer is finally returning to the recording studio working on a what might be a back-to-roots album.
According to a source, rumors of Stevie Nicks (from Fleetwood Mac) working in recording studio are true, with as many as eight songs having been put to tape. “It’s still in the early stages,” “She’s got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper,” a source said.
Stevie Nicks is rumoured to be planning a worldwide tour at the end of 2015. When contacted, a representative had no information on a new album, or any of the singer’s future plans. This isn’t the first time in recent memory reports have surfaced about Stevie Nicks recording sessions. Fans will be anxiously awaiting...

I'm glad that Stevie is sticking with Dave producing her music. As we seen in the DVD she had a ball working with him and not those tense FM recording sessions.

LOL- some of that article sounds like they got the information here.
She's not gonna wait until 2015 to put this thing out. Not when everything else seems to be moving so fast.

I rather see her solo tour promote a new album then a FM tour but this FM tour is special because of Chris being present.I could not miss this opportunity to miss it. If this was happening last year at this time she could of ditched the 2013 FM tour for a solo tour.

It doesn't say she'll put it out in 2015 it says she'll tour in 2015. She definitely can't tour before that.
