You can no longer buy a pair of tickets for Dallas unless you go through a reseller. $2500/ticket for 3rd row Christine's side!

Mick is the reason Christine is back and it took him the better part of last year to talk her into it...The whole thing goes back at least to when Mick brought CM to Maui early last year...

If you'd read all the interviews you'd know that's not the order of things. Christine decided she wanted to do it and Mick accommodated. Mick did not talk her into it. The trip to Hawaii happened because Christine called up Mick and said she wanted to go to Hawaii to see him, not to perform. She hadn't flown in nearly 15 years. Mick said basically "that's great, but actually I'm coming to England soon so we can fly back together". So that's how that came about. He invited her on stage with him but she had already started practicing before that because she had gotten the itch to play. She didn't need to be coaxed. She was a willing participant at every step. She said she got the idea she might want to come back about 2 years ago.

A friend of mine bought 6 floor tix together for PHX. Middle of the floor but still $192 each. I also just pulled 2 killer seats right next to the stage. Same $192.

It sounds like they're already releasing better seats. We tried several times for Phoenix and only found seats way in the back (don't know if single seat made a difference). I really appreciate all the suggestions about waiting until closer to the show dates for prices to fall. That's really helpful!

i have only looked at a few shows
and all the seats are crap
especially on the floor.
i'm fine to wait ... but waiting 6 months is an awfully long time.
i bought tickets on ebay kinda last minute to a few SYW shows in 2004
they ended up being pretty good seats. but that was 10 years ago
llife was simplier back then
im so $ hitted off and kinda sad at these prices and the seat locations

I brought up some [single seat] tickets for the Dallas show today using Ticketmaster. Decided on Houston though, better seats. Now to start saving for travel costs...

I have to admit I am a bit surprised by all of the ticket frustration. None of this is new. No one I know has pulled a ticket in the first 15 rows on a presale. Not in the last 10 years, anyway. The tickets available right away have been crap for years - for those with a seats up front ethic. The good ones always drop later. That's how ticketmonster does it. That's their schtick.
Sell the crap first, and fill the rest in slowly. The worst top tier price tickets are always the ones that are available first.

I have pulled front row pairs day of show on TM a number of times. You just have to be patient. Also, as many people have said, the StubHub prices plummet before a show. Often you can get tickets for less than face value day of show, and sometimes even a few days before. These tactics have never failed me. I understand the anxiety, but it helps to relax. They are counting on you to panic. This is a psychological sales game. Don't buy into it.

Not sure if I will see a show this tour. My plan is to scam all my industry contacts and try to get free seats. As usual LOL. But I may have a last minute twitch and StubHub or TM a ticket on show day.

I remember paying 500 bucks for front row Dance tickets at the Bowl. Not sure if that was the pair price or each. Doesn't matter. I wasn't down for the anxiety at the time and I had a high strung boyfriend. I am more relaxed now. No way I am paying 750 today. It isn't that important to me. I would gladly give Stevie 750 if she promised to buy a new outfit with it, but no chance I would pay that for a seat.

Lightbulb More US dates

Since they are talking about more US dates early next year, I think I might even wait until they come back through. Perhaps, if they add Oklahoma dates, I might take the drive up there.

I HATE American Airlines Center in Dallas anyway. Just saw Pat Benatar/Cher there and could barely hear them.

Well, she will have new outfits. There's no guarantee that we'll like them though.

You know, I wondered the same thing. I mean look @ the timing of it all.

you seem very sure about the new outfits. I'm not. I'm guessing she'll recycle last year's outfits. I hope I'm wrong.
