I really want to hear Sugar Daddy.
And ANY song pre-1975 would make me so happy. I would sell my soul to hear 'Why' live.

Predictions for Lindsey's songs? I know people always point to Stevie as the one more hesitant to resurrect deep cuts. But even Lindsey tends to stick with the same songs over several tours rather than choose new ones we haven't heard.

DEFINITE (4):
Tusk
I'm So Afraid
Big Love
Go Your Own Way

OPEN (3-5)

Very Likely:
Never Going Back Again (hasn't been dropped since The Dance Tour....maybe a possibility)

Likely:
Second Hand News

Maybe (if they don't go with The Chain, Second Hand News, or something different like Tusk or Don't Stop as the opener):
Monday Morning

Deep Cuts
- Is Lindsey really going to do Not That Funny + Eyes of the World Again? Blue Letter used to be used as an uptempo song, for encores too. Could it replace one of these songs, even though Lindsey didn't write this song?
- Will he want to reprise one of the EP songs, like Sad Angel, to show the band isn't giving up on recent music? or perhaps debut a new song here?
- Solo: Go Insane
- FM: Blue Letter, Crystal
- Tusk: what is more likely besides Tusk....a song Lindsey has done recently (Not That Funny, I Know I'm Not Wrong) or a song he hasn't performed since 1980 (The Ledge, What Makes You Think You're the One)?
- Tango in the Night: of course, Big Love will be included; has anyone ever asked him about hearing the title song? I know it gets mentioned all the time here as an alternative to the solo Big Love arrangement as a new guitar solo...was just wondering
- Say You Will: Bleed to Love Her is probably most likely; others Red Rover, Peacekeeper

Heart My list

Ugh I really hope they include World Turning, Over My Head, Go Insane, Bleed to Love Her, Say You Love Me, Think About Me, Say You Will, Seven Wonders, Oh Well, I Don't Want to Know, Angel, and Everywhere.
But like the hip Dance version of Say You Love Me where they're all singing at the front of the stage.

Then of course in no particular order:

The Chain
Go Your Own Way
Dreams
Little Lies
I'm So Afraid
Secondhand News
Sara
Tusk
You Make Loving Fun
Gypsy
Never Going Back Again
Don't Stop
Landslide
Rhiannon
Gold Dust Woman
Big Love
Silver Springs
Some new songs

Maybe encore could be Don't Stop, World Turning, Silver Springs, The Chain, etc?

agree, i think all 6 of these are definitive for LB. so really, you have just 2 more choices left. if the new album comes out, both may be new songs. or one new song and one Tusk song.

they'll do SHN. i don't see MM being in the set.

although i wouldn't put it past him, i hope that NTF and Eyes will not be reprised however much i love both songs and Live 2013 versions. time for a change.
i would absolutely hate having Blue Letter taking the place of one of so many interested deep cuts he could do. would absolutely. hate. it.
if there is no new album, he might reprise Sad Angel, otherwise he'll do at least one new song.

he will not do a solo song, he hasn't done one in 2013 when he had more songs in the setlist than he will this year. so no, he will not do Go Insane, he already dropped it in 2013. he doesn't need a solo song when playing with FM.
again - i would absolute hate it if he puts Blue Letter, or Crystal, in the setlist as one of his deeper cuts / non-hits, when he has so many other stellar deep cuts, many of which he's never ever performed live.
What Makes You Think You're the One, Walk A Thin Line (!!!!!!!!!! yeah right, i can dream on ) would be my top choices from Tusk, followed by The Ledge.

BTLM is gorgeous, and was gorgeous whenever he did it, solo or with FM. it would be a good choice.
Red Rover would also be spectacular.
he had several audience requests for Peacekeeper last year, and it was their most recent minor hit. but personally i'd much rather hear Red Rover or BTLH.

The last time we heard Monday Morning it just did not provide as exciting of an opening as I expected. It's lost something and they were right to drop it this time around.

above i wrote what i would love to hear and what he should do (a song he hasn't performed live recently, or ever as is the case with WATL).

but you know what he will do, i can almost bet? instead of using the opportunity to perform something different, he'll do I Know I'm Not Wrong, again.

didn't you hear it enough times already? FM mentality is getting to ya, after all these years of following them.

That's what I asked you about Big Love acoustic. Haven't you heard it enough? Michele

i did. but he won't drop it. so no reason to discuss that one.

IKINW is not a must. so if you have a choice why hear the one you heard already. although i guess you can ask me the same about BTLH. i can give you my reasons for that one.

but if i could chose between either one of these and WATL... well you know what my choice would be. imagine if somehow out of the blue he actually does WATL this tour? and so far i'm not going to any shows.

See, I was totally right! Stevie has resurrected more songs than Lindsey has, even though she is always painted as the more difficult one that restricts set lists.

I think Lindsey is stubborn and afraid to take risks. Ideally I'd like to see him substitute out one of his typical big solo moments for Tango in the Night debut. I totally agree that Bleed to Love Her is gorgeous, and sounded gorgeous especially with Christine. My initial thought was Second Hand News would open the concert because I think it was incredibly successful last year.

I'd love to hear a Tusk song that hasn't been played recently. So NTF and IKINW would disappoint me. WMYTYTO is uptempo and passionate, and would be great to hear. I'm surprised he doesn't even take the time to play these Tusk songs in his solo concerts...even there we still get the same Fleetwood Mac songs. I wish he was more for developing new arrangements---maybe this is the year we'll get that, with so much time before the concerts start and the Mac all based in LA.

Question: Elle, you mentioned people were calling for Peacekeeper. Did that happen at the concerts? People would shout it out? What was his reaction/what did he say in M&Gs if you asked him about his song choices?

i think they are both stuck in their ways and that set-in-the-stone FM setlist comes from both of them, tbh. it does not come from Mick, i don't think, because i grilled him about that (and no setlist changes from date to date during the same tour) at one of the m&gs last year.

however the fact is that SN changed 1 song between Unleashed and Live 2013 (replaced Storms with SOTM), while Lindsey changed 3 (Go Insane, Oh Well, and IKINW, with NTF, Say Goodbye and Eyes). and they both added 1 new song. i think both changes between the tours are so highly minimal that it's ridiculous, really.

i have no idea about SN's solo setlists; LB usually added 6 new songs from whatever new album he's promoting, and then switches some of the other ones. he's not nearly enough adventurous, but his solo setlist does change much more than FM does. and then he usually thrown in some songs by audience requests from time to time, although not nearly enough.

yes, at one of the shows in Europe people had this huge banner that they kept holding up with Peacekeeper written on it. LB told them something like he'd love to do it but sorry he can't; then he signed the banner for them.

LB doesn't do m&gs at FM tours, so i'm not sure what you are talking about asking him something at the m&g? if he did i would probably not think twice about paying $750 for a great ticket and a m&g with him - then at the m&g i'd probably berate him for shamelessly scalping fans like that.

I'd vote for That's Enough For Me as a Lindsey "deep cut" for this tour. I recently heard the Rotterdam 1980 performance, and I liked the way it sounded live. Plus, the lyrics are somewhat appropriate for a reunion. They could do an arrangement similar to the 2013 version of Not That Funny. The song is short enough to be used as a quick, high-energy "filler" moment between two of their more frequently-played songs.

yeah, it would be better than hearing again some of his Tusk songs they already did in the last 20 years, although it would be relatively low on my list. (SMAP and TAFE being at the very bottom of that list, as my least favorite Tusk LB songs.)

Angel is my first choice for Stevie on this tour (and it actually has a chance of getting into the set list, for the reason you mentioned above).

Would also like to hear Paper Doll, Races Are Run, Affairs of the Heart, Everybody Finds Out, but now I'm getting into "alternate universe" territory...

In my dream set list, they'd do the whole "Side 3" of the Tusk album (Angel, TEFM, Brown Eyes, Never Make Me Cry, IKINW). Since this year is the 35th anniversary of Tusk, hopefully that will get some kind of acknowledgement (last year, they celebrated the 35th anniv. of Rumours even though it was a year too late-- any excuse to keep pushing Rumours, I guess).
