Myself I only get floor seats if it is within the first 22+- rows. Being in the rear section of the floor is unappealing to me, you are basically watching the screens like the cheap seats. Although, like mentioned before, you have a better chance of getting to the stage having a floor seat in general. If I'm unable (rarely) to get a ticket in the front section I opt for a lower arena side seat.

The facebook presale has seemed fruitless. I looked for one for Sunrise and basically just mid sections of floor and side seating. I'll wait on this venue till the week of the show. I have tickets for Tampa and just for the heck of it today tried the facebook presale and nothing at all was available.

Good Luck in your search.

What I don't understand is why the cheap 40-60 dollar tickets are only being sold for $118.00. This doesn't make sense to me!
Besides a few markets in California and possibly a few in the Northeast I doubt they will run out of tickets. I really think it is far too early to worry. Even on the night of the show there will most likely be ads on craigslist and people at the venues trying to sell tickets. If the price was more attractive to all ages the potential to sell out would be far greater.

I think it really depends on which city(ies) you're looking at.

I'm personally worried about it for Atlanta, because it's the only show in the Southeast basically (not counting the 2 FL dates, which I don't, because they're kind of their own secluded thing).

I always say these special pre-sales are a joke.I was reading somewhere about a new rule with the ticket outlets and the venues supposed to hold good seat tix for the local box office for tix by phone or in person at the venue box office .

Did anybody read or heard the same thing.

I tried the in person box office route years ago and they had crappy seats.

Did had good luck calling The Turningstone casino in 2010 for a Stevie show on the first day of general tix sales.I scored front row seats at $125 bucks.

I almost died and felt like i won a million bucks.

All this is a advertising gimmick to make people sign up.

depends on the band. Pearl Jam for example have been very vocal against scalping. they make all their tickets available at TM the first day of the sale. for decent prices.

of course band and their management has to actually care about something other than making tons of money. FM is not that kind of band.

The best no-scam tickets I ever bought were for Miley Cyrus in 2008 or 9. EVERY ticket was printed like a receipt when you got to the actual show, (the people that scan tickets normally had a very small printer strapped around their waist like a fanny pack) and you had to have the name match and the exact same credit card you bought the ticket with. It's a shame more shows couldn't do that!

And not to mention, our seats were awesome. In the pit behind part of the stage, if you imagine it shaped like a T, behind the cross part/runway.Not that it matters!

I got section 122, row 19 for Chicago. Granted, it's the last row, but it's lower level and not too far from the stage on Lindsey's side. I got it the first day during the AmEx presale. I looked on the Facebook one today to see if there was anything better, but all the options were much further back. I figure an issue is I'm only buying 1 ticket, and they generally want to sell things in pairs, so there's not that many single tickets available right now. I'm going to keep looking, but am overall happy with this ticket.

To my knowledge, Ticketmaster does not carve out single ticket inventory vs. pairs of tickets. If there are any seats, you can buy them as a single ticket. So there should be no issue with you or anyone else wanting to buy 1 ticket, they don't throttle the inventory of tickets to try to sell them in pairs.

(With the one exception: Platinum tickets, which I believe cannot be purchased as singles.)

I borrowed my brother's Amex card and clicked in exactly at 10 am on Monday for the Houston show on Dec 15. I decided to get four seats, though the only person going so far is ME! The best I could get was in the lower bowl, left hand side as you are facing the stage, row 6 aisle 120, about mid court if you were at a basketball game.

The tickets weren't cheap, $179.50 each, but they only added a $5 order processing fee. Toyota Center does not use Ticketmaster.

I had thought I might sell any extras on Stubhub, but apparently I have to use Flash Seats to resell them. I had never heard of Flash Seats. You show your credit card when you get to the arena, like you were at an airport.

Can't wait for the show. I don't see many concerts anymore, but for some reason this one has really got me intrigued.

Thumbs down Presale for Philly

This is an obsolete joke. I've tried several times. I just get the nosebleed section! Then when I keep trying, I get nothing. This has got to be the worst presale I've ever encountered!

Default "Live Nation Presale" = waste of time

Similar to the other presales this past week, searching on Ticketmaster for just a single ticket, in the "Live Nation Presale" that went on sale today, the best that came up immediately at 10:00AM sharp was all the way back on the floor. Checking repeatedly to see if anything better might come up, lower level all the way back after the floor ends is what kept coming up.

Waste of time. Again.

In my opinion, these "Presales" are designed by Ticketmaster to carve out and sell average-to-poor ticket inventory to fans who see the word "Presale" and assume that they are getting access to special tickets because they are "Presale".

This is one of the many reasons I hate Ticketmaster. And the band and its management has a role in this, as well. They could do this different and better for fans if they wanted to.

Did anyone else do better with today's "Live Nation Presale"?

Default Nope

Didn't do any better. Just looking for a single ticket but not in row EEE or GGG of Floor 9. Guess I'll resort to StubHub if the general on sale doesn't work out.

Same. The results are taking ages to come up (I've been stuck at "Your wait time is less than 1 minute" for about 5...) and each time it's nosebleeds for MSG, Newark, and Philly. Such bull****. I'm really hoping Monday isn't the same cluster**** and I can get semi-descent seats. It's a shame that tickets haven't even officially opened up to general sales yet and I already think I'll have to buy through Stubhub.

I'm taking my mom to NYC and going with my best friend to Philly, and both are a little "meh, what are you going to do, as long as we're there!" about nosebleeds. Am I the only one who thinks it's kind of a waste? I just kind of think that if you're going to be watching them on a screen, why not just sit at home and watch a concert video on YouTube? I want to be able to see them in person - it doesn't have to be front row, but actually close enough to see their faces! A video isn't the same.
